Irvine service much better

I went back after hearing they got a new service manager and had a much nicer experience. Service writers Ted and Rick were helpfull and informative. They took care of my recalls, did my "L" flash and even performed my 15k service 900 miles early. All good.

More or less: Change the oil, rotate the tires, and clean the air filter. 30k is the big one but strangely the plugs aren't changed until 35k.

Probably because they dont want you to go broke from 1 service trip.

Good to hear it wasn't my imagination. Irvine was great with me too.
But let me get this straight, You go from pasadena to irvine for service?
I went because its where I bought the car and had a due bill to take care of. I was thinking of going to Long Beach mazda for any other issues the're closer to me, anyone have any experience with those guys?

I work in Irvine 4 days a week. I would, actually, drive that far to avoid going to Alhambra Mazda for service again though. That bad.

When i still lived in Irvine, i had my miata and 7 serviced there. same thing with the 8.

Ted at service is the one to go to; he is always nice and gives the car back on time or before.

Now I had just the opposite experience with Ted at Irvine Mazda. I found him to be a total idiot and did not listen to my problem and came back with a silly explanation worthy of a 3 year old.

He did not loan me a car and did not wash the car like Tustin Mazda does.

But it is good to hear he(they) have improved since they are the closest to my work.
