I hear and obey... It doesn't look like I'll be there the morning of, so I can tell you now that I'll take the VIP pass and pick it up when I find you on Sat. My car will end up in GReddy's booth after all, and not in the car club corral, so I will not be able to take it on the track for laps. Thanks for putting this together for us!

For those of you who are in town you may want to come out to Ca. Speedway one day early and check out the SpeedVentures event. JGTC will also be practicing for about 1 1/2 hours on that day. Rumored cars for the event on the 17th are the following:

I think it'll take a little more than an hour to get there, the meeting is at 7:15AM. how about we meet at 6:00 at the In&out on crenshaw, just south of lomita blvd?

 

We should all do the fan lap in 1st gear the whole way around (jus cruise lock it at ~7k which wouldn't be a problem for us, but no other makes would even think of doing likewise :D .). Maybe buzz the redline as we pass the start/finish. Only being therapeutic for our motors, mind you...

I went to the JGTC. It was the best time I ever had!!! Me and my pal went were both
huge rotary fans. (it aint a motor if it aint a rotor) We met Ame-san himself and got all of the autograghs of the RX drivers. Ross Petty is probably one of the coolest people youll ever meet. Man I loved being there that weekend. I spent all of my money but it was worth every penny. Famous drivers and hot babes were just walking around the place. If any of you have the chance to go to the next JGTC or D1
race then I suggest that you do. Millen (1st place American drifter) told me that the next D1 is scheduled for february in california, so try to get tickets soon. Ill post some pics of my trip soon.
