No one knows anything about 8's there. They installed my Mazdaspeed Exhaust... First they told me it wasn't Carb Approved, and then told me that it wasn't warrantied when the part was bent.

On top of that they didn't know how to install it so they never cut the exhaust shrouds.. HELLO BURNING PLASTIC!

I had to school them all in the MazdaSpeed Catalog... gotta wonder how they got their Mazdaspeed title. Heck, they didn't even know what MazdaSpeed was, just kept telling me that my warranty would be void from this aftermarket part. Had a nice little sit down with them about "Blue" warranty parts.

I suggest going to Cush Mazda in Escondido if you really need to goto a Mazda dealer. The only one I've found so far where the customer service doesn't eat the big one.

My car is brand new, no way im trading away 3 years of warranty on the MS Exhaust to skip dealing with the dealer... Minor problems, big pain in the *** though... thank god they're down the street from my work.

Whatever happened with you guys on Saturday? I showed up at like 1 and there was only 4 RX7's in the Fuddrucker's parking lot...

I really really do not understand why they don't, unlike in L.A. and Orange Counties it is for the most part a unified gathering of Rotary Powered vehicles
so yes by all means join up!

I bought it from OnlineMazdaParts.com, one of the vendors here... Was 510$ no sales tax 20$ shipping. Then John Hine charged me 100$ to install.

I love the exhaust, to me the stock exhaust tips are just not big enough, and the car does not sound aggressive enough stock either.

The exhaust definitely makes the revs way more fun. I have the CAI on order too, I'm a fan of aggressive sounds, don't really care about the HP gains.

If you want to check it out, we could meet up at lunch some day or something, since it seems that you are in the Mission Valley area.

There was a silver 8 there with us, don't be shy next time we did spot you
We are planning on a Sunday cruise to Mt. Laguna via Sunset Hwy. If you havn't been on one put together by John L. our cruise director, you'd enjoy it. Details when they arrive.
