Just bought a 2009 RX8 R3 (Sacramento)
Well I just bought this car yesterday. I really like the way it handles, yeah it could be a bit faster, but I don't know that I can complain. I'll probably do a few of the aftermarket mods to the exhaust system and get the cobb tuner. Not going to turbo it, don't want to void my warranty.
I'm in Sacramento, and I've just started to peruse the forums to try and find out what the most recommended upgrades and mods are. My only real complaint is that the auto-dimming mirror really sucks. Need to figure out how to make it work better, or I'm going to have to replace it with a regular one.
Also, anyone know of a smaller passkey than those huge cards? Afraid I'm going to break it in my back pocket, and it's really too large and uncomfortable to put in my front pocket.

For your car, leave it alone. If you're going to autocross or track the car, invest in a different set of rims to use when going to such events.

It's Black, and I bought it at Roseville Automall, second time I've bought from them and I got a screaming deal.

Welcome and congrats. Any pics of your car on the site yet? If you think your auto dimming mirror is bad - the first version on the GTs is worse. I have that model and it is slow to dim and then fast to undim.
What people have done (I also did for a time) was to twist/flip the mirror upside down so the sensor is on top. It worked "better."
I have family in Sac and get up there regularly. Don't think there are lot of Sacromentans on here. Make sure you use oil other than 5W-20, it gets hot in the summer.
