I did, I just take them off when I work on it... Sounds weird I know, but **** always seams to happen when I am working on it.

mike my eye lids were from vividracing.com dude so i dont think theyre fake i e mailed them tho about one being slightly shorter

Vivid is known for bait and switch.
Or, should I say bait and.....nothing.

 

I had a little direction from Phil and Ray.... It took me around 30 minutes or so to drop it and once I had the right parts and tools it took me 40 minutes or so to put it up... The biggest thing is having people guide you on what to do before doing it... Sonds crazy and all, but Phil and Ray help a great deal... I was on the phone with Ray for most of the swap... I am very glad I went with the Exotic Speed...

 

So, about a hour and half of work?! Not too shabby.. It's always fun to do your own work on the RX-8. I'm guessing you didn't have to do any welding, since most exhaust require it. I will be installing my Passenger Side Curtain Air Bag, Traction Rod, and Toe Rod real soon. So, my wheels will finally drive straight instead of it wobbling, I will also need to get my alignment fixed once I put on new wheels.

Nice!! I don't think I've ever seen those mirrors on a RX-8 in person, so I'm looking forward to see how they look. They will go great with the kit, that's for sure!
