Hi guys...so yes its true...the insurance company declared the 8 a total loss. I think gilbert made a thread on the accident n i'll put up some more pictures. Basically a SUV tried to cut me off and ran me into a wall and i guess when he/she saw me go in front of him they braked really hard and made their turn and booked it when they saw they caused an accident.
But my baby's gone and i've never been so depressed and sad and angry all at the same time...

 

so Phil, i don't think we're gonna be able to make it to the meet unless we get another car by then..we'll see

 

That sux! At least you guys are ok... hopefully you guys can get anoter car soon.

no. when i hit the wall and the brakeline snapped i still had momentum and the car coasted past all 3 lanes and stopped in the middle turn lane..and as soon as i stopped i looked to my right and i saw everyone lookin at me...thank God i didn't get t-boned..but no one called 911 but me...but, oh well...i pray things will get better from now on...

 

it suprises me that ppl act like that but the more i think about it it doesnt if you know what i mean.

Look out six speed here we come! found a 2004 with only 21K miles on her, Nav, 6 dis cd player, bose with aftermarket amp, and it has the appearance pkg with out leather and its still under warrenty, **** you cant go wrong for $16K!!!

 

Control arm broke. So the car is on the floor. The only thing that is holding it up is the wheel

The Winning Blue 2004 RX-8 we want at the dealersip by Mikes house has 21,000 miles. They are asking $16,800 I asked for $15,000 and $1,000 dp they said ok.

and they did'nt cover the wheels cuz the insurance doesn't cover aftermarket stuff...unless we would've paid more for something like that..but, of course we didn't.

I would not get it unless I have the rest of the kit to go with it. Looks odd on a stock car.

 

BTW Phil, I work at Candlewood Suites and our spa is not working. Thing is its under warrenty with you guys. But its been down fow a week.
Any word on the parts?

 

Gil & Anet, hope everything works out, it's a bummer that things had to happen this way. I remember when I crashed, when I was racing the guy, he came back behind me to block me from the rest of the traffic. I guess, there is some nice people in Las Vegas..
