i taught Kristal in the car park too, its all about patience anet, and the thing is it sounds like your just like kristal, she got frustrated and wanted to get it straight away. The best thing to do is go on the car park and then practice just moving round with just the clutch, dont even press the accelerator. Do this in reverse and in first. This way you get to learn about the bite point
Also that to change gear you dont need to fully put the clucth the whole way down, it just has to get to that bite point.

thanks mike, kristal is getting a lesson on how to drive stick now from the ppl who rented us the car. Im suprised they rented it with her not fully knowing how to drive stick. The car sounds real nice

 

Hmm ok thanks...we'll see how it goes later..lol Also to get comfortable, sucks..cuz my right foot is so close to the throttle and wants to be all lead foot, and i have to get really close to the steering wheel just so i can push the clutch all the way to the floor...sucks being short
