It's easier to lip the front left side of the car, and take off the left wheel. There should be a DIY on how to change them, the easy way! But, from now on if I was you I would always let the car warm up before shutting it off..

It doesn't need to necessarily be warmed-up, it just needs to be run for a minute or two, revved a bit, then shut down. At least , that's what has worked for me and I am in MI.

I seen them on ebay as well, I just don't have pay pal to order stuff.. But, when do you think I'll be able to get them off of you? Are you gonna be at Phil's garage meet? If so, you can bring them then, or we can meet somewhere if that's the case..

With regard to flooding, In most electronically fuel injected cars to clear the condition it is recommended to hold the accelerator to the floor and crank the engine for 10 to 20 seconds. This should signal the computer that this is a flood clearing scenario and it doesn't deliver fuel to clear the flood. Should work in RX 8's also.

Arnin,
Peoples Mazda and I have a long not so illustrious relationship. The service manager is prolific in his ignorance, and apptitude to misrepresent fact.
If they have supplied you competent service it's because I have spent hours dealing with their incompetence and reconditioning their inept attempts at molification.

I have been told that oil and heat were the two big culprits on engine failures. Oil was easily fixed so they did that thru flashes. Heating is up to you.

GARAGE MEET
Location: Phil's Garage (heated)
Scheduled Attraction: Charles R. Hill, Mazda Maniac, Chickenwafer
Date: March 2nd
Time: 1:00pm until 5:00pm
These are the Forums technical guys. They will be available to answer any of your questions on mods, tuning, nitrous and forced induction.
Charles (Ray) Has started Black Halo Racing and has a full line of parts also - get some competitive pricing from him on those mods your thinking about.
Or just come by and have a free beer or soda and relax
The reason it's in my garage is that they will be working on my car. Finally I'll get my dam aftercooler back in so I can go places. They also have plans of a few other mods for my car. Can't make the meet but want to talk to them? PM me and we'll see if arrangements can be made.
Need directions? PM me or call
