well i plan to get upgraded subs and stuff but didn't think of upgrading the speakers. The music i play has a ton of bass so thats probably why it popped. volume 22 is like as loud as my ears can take. but yeah....

those of you who have upgraded systems (gil is the only 1 i know of) do you guys use aftermarket decks or have you kept the stock set up for a clean look. thats what i want to do.

 

You can keep the stock deck. I did.

 

I plan on changing it eventually. So on thu we're meeting at red rock to do the loop. About 4pm. I know me and jason are going for sure. Everyone else is welcome of course

I have upgraded everything but the deck. I didn't want to change it. I have always liked the factory look. Next time we see eachother, jump in and turn it up...

i want to get 2 5 or 6 inch subs in the hole where the panel covers the hole into the trunk. that way it will look real nice.

it would be a custom job but if it looks nice i can imagine it being worth like 1200 bucks.

right now tho, my rear view windows rattle i'm gonna configure a diy at home depot in order to eliminate it. you can't look fly with your music blaring with an annoying body panel rattle! ugh! i've gotta get it fixed.

Yeah I have 2x12"s in my trunk and my car rattles lol I dont know how bad its going to be when I build my box to hold the two 12"s

u heard my old 1 before, but it was a little too loud at highway cruising speeds. the legamax sounds a little better than my old 1 but 4 decibels quieter.

na dude, i'm just gonna get exhaust tips...my car is loud enough for me with just the intake.

the sad thing is anthony...that most after market exhausts will be just as loud or louder than the 1 i had. its the simple truth, if you want your rx8 to be loud only when you want it to be, then just get an intake.

oh and about you seeing me drive around, where was it? i've only been a few places all week. greenvalley parkway, horizon ridge, eastern and coronado center...then up in7 hills. i really don't go anywhere els than that. oh and st rose
