The water temperature would also be a minus so Lake Mohave it will be if there are enough to make it viable.
I do have a party boat, jet boat and jet skis so there would be enough boats for a small group. My idea is to take a weekend consisting of Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and clean up on Monday at Cottonwood Cove on Lake Mohave. Using all those days everyone could have at least one day on the lake or could camp out and stay for the weekend (there are also cabins available). I have not yet picked a time for this so I am taking a consensus of members to even consider this as an outing for us. I am considering this for late May or early June so that it will not be too hot but the water should be warmer and before the wind usually starts. It will take some time on my part to get all the stuff down there so I would like everyone to answer me quickly so that I can make my plans. I would like to keep this among the members only (it could get out of hand).
For those of you who may not know where Lake Mohave is or Cottonwood Cove - Just drive to Searchlight, turn left at the sign and drive an additional 12 miles to the camping area.
Rules that will apply:
1. If you drink then you can't operate any of my water craft. You can ride but not drive.
2. You must supply your own legal flotation devise (vest or equal) and you must have one to even ride in a boat or a jet ski. Inexpensive ones available at Walmart or Bass Pro Shop.
3. Children are welcome but must be managed by their parents and will wear their foliation devices at all times when in or on a watercraft. They will be allowed to use the jet skis as long as the parent is present and they are wearing proper flotation devices.
4. I don't want to be a policeman or your guardian buy when using, riding upon, riding in any water craft my word will be law. I don't want any one hurt on my watch.
5. I do have water skis, singles and doubles and all are welcome to use them. Remember that alcohol and water don't mix to well. Your welcome to bring some of your own equipment.
6. Each person attending will supply their own food, drink and camping equipment - I will pay for the fuel to operate all the water craft but may require some assistance filling them up. I will also pay for a boat slip or slips to dock at so daily assistance with the boats will be kept to a minimum.
Ok, I would like to hear from all of you by posting please so that all can see your arguments and questions. Please help me and answer quickly and not have to carry this on forever.
Thanks for the comment Anthony. I'll bump this for a couple of days but if no one is interested then that's ok. Just sounded good.
Ok, Anthony, Mario, Jason. I will continue to make plans and set dates. Is there any weekend in June that fits your schedule? let me know as am going to make the reservations for docks on the 28th of this month.
Lets see Anthony, Mario, Jason MX, Armen, Gill & Annette have commited to coming. I will set the date on my trip to Laughlin and post it in advance so those of you that need to get time off can do so.

Can't say it hasn't been tested yet, but image that custom eccentric shaft in there.
Sure, but what is sometime 11 to be exact?
Yeah, more like 3 MPG..
[QUOTE=mx193;2398175]
That would be sweet, let me next time you guys go out to play so I can come along to play/practice a little. Keep me updated on the adult leage team, I'll definitely be interested!
It would put 600HP easily, but it can do a lot more. The La Mans 4 rotor car put out somewhere in the 700HP range. Image the 6 rotor, it could put out over 1000HP range! But, it would take a genius to try and tune a 6 rotor to work properly and run smooth! But, image what kind of world records this thing would do..

But, after that meet I will be planning the next meet which would be on July 11th. I already told a few the reason why, but I'll say it again so everyone knows why.. On the 11th Formula D (drifting) will be in town, and there will be a few people from CA and AZ coming and it would be a great turn out of RX-8's on that day. I also think that there is a few of us that have never been to Formula D and it would be a great experience for those who haven't enjoyed it yet. Also, my birthday will be on the 11th, and we can have a BBQ in the parking lot and have some beers before the show starts. Best of all, close to end of the night there will be a sweet bikini contest for everyone to enjoy!

For those of you wishing to come to the Cottonwood Cove meet, presently the following are available.
1. Dirt camping at the camp sites are on a first come first serve basis. Can't tell if they will be full. If full you can camp on the beach we will use as our central point but you are stuck there after dark.
2. There are currently 17 spots open for full service RV spots (I will be in one of these in my motor home)
3. There are small motel rooms available for that weekend if you would like. The resort has no internet connection and rentals are only by phone. See WWW.CottonwoodCove.com for phone numbers.
4. We will have one docking space for the deck boat. Someone could sleep on the deck boat if need be as there is a lot of space on the boat (ask Jason). If there is room at the dock I will park the other boat there otherwise I will need assistance taking it out of the water daily.
5. My partners asked me not to bring the jet skis because of liability if someone gets hurt. So currently there will be two boats available. Jet skis can be rented in Searchlight if you wish.
5. Unless there is a really large turn out, we will leave the dock somewhere between 9 AM and 10 am and boat to a beach close to the Marina. The boat will return to the marina at 1 PM and then just before it gets dark. If you would like to be a boat driver please PM me. This is not set in stone but we do not want to be just ferrying people from the day beach to the marina all day - Let's have some fun.
6. Small children are welcome on the deck boat but discouraged from the jet ski boat. Please see rules in main posting.
There may be a small ($5.00) fee for entering the park. The park service may charge $3-$5 per night to camp at the marina area. All other questions will be answered by PM

Hey thanks guys for the birthday wishes. I think I stopped counting my age at thirty or something.
I hope I can make it to the Friday meet so I can meet more of you...if so, I can swoop you up Armin. Just let me know. I wish the weather was hotter so that we could check out the pool. ![Naughty](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/naughty.gif)

However, you coming with a truck or what's the deal? Because you said when you come over next time, you wanted me to pre-load your springs.. Also, I will need some help from you while you down here.. I got a gap between my front bumper and hood, and I need to loosen all the bolts to align it to the position where it needs to be and re-tighten the bolts. Is that cool or what?
