well i'm back also. had lots going on with getting married end of march than a nice honeymoon just after.
hopefully looks like I will be getting friday and saturdays off from work soon so that will be nice.
we had a great event at the nellis afb this past weekend. had a 1.5 mile length course. Fastest time for me was 112.244 which was 4th fastest out of all full bodied cars.

It's funny how all these locals are just popping out of nowhere.. Michelle (Cacophany) sent me a PM asking to be added to the member list, also Matt (mazda matt) and Chris (WRXtoRX8) finally started posting again after a while. Hopefully everyone will start coming to the meets! Any case, Jason hasn't bumped the next meet, so I figured I would do it for him..
"NEXT MEET"
April 25th @ 7 PM is going to be the next dinner meet.
It will be held at Half Shell Seafood & Gaming on the second floor.
The address is:

Well, quick update regarding my car.. I'm waiting on Jordan to get his new rims, so I can buy his OEM ones. That would finally get me back on the road for good, I will also be doing some small changes to the exterior and interior of the car. I will be installing my Pioneer Avic-D3 soon, and that's all I'm gonna say for now. ![Smilie](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)

It's currently in my brother's car, but it will be taken out shortly.. Any case, I'm gonna get it custom molded into our current DIN. There is a few people with this setup, but they have the CorkSport DIN which I personally think that it looks like ****. The fitment is horrible, there is gaps from the bottom and both left & right side. I'm also gonna paint a few other things in the interior (Piano Black), and I will get a new headliner installed (Black or Dark Gray Suede).

We tried phoneing everyone we have a number for to say that there was a car show at the Gold Coast and we were transfering to the In Out. I got to meet AJ (real nice guy) but it was a disapointing meet as there was a lack of members. Albert, AJ, Armin and a couple of 7s showed.

I do have a party boat & jet ski boat so there would be enough boats for a small group. My idea is to take a weekend consisting of Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and clean up on Monday at Cottonwood Cove on Lake Mohave. I would like to keep this among the members only (it could get out of hand).
DIRECTIONS:
For those of you who may not know where Lake Mohave is or Cottonwood Cove are - Just drive toward Boulder City, turn to follow signs to Searchlight (Needles, Laughlin) on Highway 93, turn left at the sign in Searchlight (Cottonwood Cove Road) drive an additional 12 miles to reach the park.
Rules that will apply:
1. If you drink then you can't operate any of my water craft. You can ride but not drive.
2. You must supply your own legal flotation devise (vest or equal) and you must have one to even ride in a boat. Inexpensive ones available at Walmart or Bass Pro Shop.
3. Children are welcome but must be managed by their parents and will wear their foliation devices at all times when in or on a watercraft. Small children are welcome on the deck boat but discouraged from the jet ski boat. Please see rules in main posting.
4. I don't want to be a policeman or your guardian but when using, riding upon, riding in any water craft my word will be law. I don't want any one hurt on my watch.
5. I do have water skis, singles and doubles and all are welcome to use them. Remember that alcohol and water don't mix to well. Your welcome to bring some of your own equipment.
6. Each person attending will supply their own food, drink and camping equipment - I will pay for the fuel to operate all the water craft but may require some assistance filling them up. I will also pay for a boat slip or slips to dock at so daily assistance with the boats will be kept to a minimum.
7. We will have one docking space for the deck boat. Someone could sleep on the deck boat if need be as there is a lot of space on the boat (ask Jason). If there is room at the dock I will park the other boat there otherwise I will need assistance taking it out of the water daily.
8. My partners asked me not to bring the jet skis because of liability if someone gets hurt. So currently there will be two boats available. Jet skis can be rented in Searchlight if you wish.
For those of you wishing to come to the Cottonwood Cove meet, presently the following are available.
1. Dirt camping at the camp sites are on a first come first serve basis. Can't tell if they will be full. If full you can camp on the day beach we will use as our central point but you are stuck there after dark.
2. There are currently 17 spots open for full service RV spots (I will be in one of these in my motor home)
3. There are small motel rooms available for that weekend if you would like. The resort has no internet connection and rentals are only by phone. See WWW.CottonwoodCove.com for phone numbers.
4. There may be a small ($5.00) fee for entering the park. The park service may charge $3-$5 per night to camp at the marina area. All other questions will be answered by PM

OK THE DATE FOR THE COTTONWOOD COVE CAMPING, BOATING AND FUN TIME IS SET. JUNE 5,6,7,8,9 ARE THE DAYS OF THE MEET. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE THERE FOR ALL THE DAYS BUT I WILL BE THERE AND HAVE THE BOATS AVAILABLE DURING THOSE DAYS
More to follow on this trip - now is the time to ask your questions.

Well, our meets are always on different days, they aren't always on Friday's or Saturday's.. Any case, Phil I got a good laugh about the Child 1 and Child 2 comment, you could of just put kids..
Besides that, both of my Greddy strut bars are sold!
