A Cat is a Cat no matter what except if the O2 sensor does not see it as a Cat. In about 90% of the 8s see the super Cat as a legit Cat. Now just because I said that Murphy will pop up and screw it up.
Yes it does appear that you would have to get the flange changed on one end, sorry I was reminded that mine was changed when I changed to a Racing Beat system and thus that is what is on there now.
I have no problem taking it back - I would ask that you please bring it back to my house or office. I only offered it up so that those of you on a limited budget could have some cheep mods.

Thank you good sir! I appreciate that, and no I don't play when it comes to waxing.
It's not easy, but like you said yourself the results speaks for itself! It felt as smooth as butter, I would of liked to clay bar it first and then wax it! Next time.. BTW, did you ever find that Plast X and your money? ![Uhh](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/uhh.gif)

oil change is only hard on the VERY first oil change. the factory cranks on that oil filter as hard as they possibly can lol. but after that, its pretty simple. Just need 14mm (i think) socket, a oil pan, and ur hands. You don't need an oil filter wrench, just untwist with your hands.
brakes are pretty simple too, once u take off the wheel you can pretty much just look at it and figure out how to take out the pads. I used to do it with my dad on his older cars when i was younger. easy stuff.

CONGRATULATIONS Gil - Tell that one dude that comb-overs look terrible - better to be bald
I have no problem taking it back - I would ask that you please bring it back to my house or office. I only offered it up so that those of you on a limited budget could have some cheep mods.

Stock cat back exhaust with stock cat: 117 - 125
Stock cat back exhaust with mid pipe (or supercat): 120-135

Let me tell you this fool doesn't play when it comes to waxing. He let's it sit to harden and then busts out with the buffer. It was some of the hardest work I've done to shine my car. Usually it's just wax on, wax off like the karate kid. But the results speak for themselves the car feels as smooth as butter.
Anet knows her **** ,weight is a factor...if you care about speed that is but if looks is your thing then those are some nice looking rims...as for the oil change I read the DIY and it's pretty simple (I've done it on other cars) but I don't have a garage anymore and I didn't want to put Armin through all that since he might not have the tools for it ie. the filter wrench and the disposal of the oil and messing up his driveway) I would've like to have done it at your (Gil/Annette) place for the first time just to see how it's done and not spill oil everywhere.
But the brakes I think I will have to have him try to do it since it doesn't seem as messy and it would be a good learning experience for both of us since I have never change out brakes myself.
I need to lower my car soon. Nestle Cookie store in Miracle Mile sux. PF Changs kinda sux as well.

Don't worry about it. I don't need to sell it. I have mods I haven't even put on the car yet. When I have some mods that get removed from my car I just like to pass them on so that others can enjoy doing some mods. Some one who wants 3-5 hp will come along and get it.
AJ, if you come by to do the breaks, we will also do the hood mods so you will not over heat as easy.

Where can I get some inexpensive breakpads for the 8? I will try Autozone since they give the military a discount.
The hood mod is a great idea, most of my mods are based on engine longevity and optimum performance N/A.
I won't be getting the Accessport ($700

No pictures right now, I can take some tomorrow or you can come by tomorrow and check it out. You don't even have to pay, just cut it out of the money that I'll give you for the rims..
Yeah, I will come along and help.. I'm 98% certain that I can change them out, I just don't have a tool to put them back in and compress them. BTW, I really wouldn't need the MCM since I have a vented hood, and a lot of my heat already escapes as I'm driving or when I'm parked. Someone else should just have it because they would need it more than I would.. Also, what do you mean because I'm hard up?
Damn Phil your the best, can Mario come and change his break pads too and Armin wants to come and help out since he's never done it and it'll probably be faster with us helping out one another and you can just point us in the right direction.

I won't be getting the Accessport ($700
) anytime soon so I will definitely be using the MCM for a while and I can already hear the fans blowing a lot more saving my engine. But once I do get it I will give it to a needy rx8 member just like myself I but won't sell it for profit. That's why I thought Armin should get dibs on it because he's hard up.
J/k Thanks again.
