Now you can opt for the mileage package and just increase your gas mileage in town (I'm not sure anyone has opted for this package yet ) but you will not gain any hp.
Anthony is correct with the exhaust prices going thru the roof, this mod is a bargan and will not void your warranty, is mod friendly and can always be changed back to stock in 4 minutes (the time it presently takes to remove one flash and add another). You can gain 20 to 30 hp without even turning a wrench.

soooooo yeah. my car is flooded i think
the battery is charged, when i left the car the night before i even made sure there were no lights on, when i came down this morning, there was no lights on. When i turn the key to the "on" position, the gauges come on and the radio plays without trouble, the windows go up and down. Battery is charged.
then when i turn the key, no sound. I can't hear the starter and the car won't turn at all. I can only think of two situations, 1. the starter is shot or 2. the car is flooded
I did the regular ECU restart (pumping brake pedal 20 times with key to the "on" position. no difference. any advise?!?!

hmmm, well after reading some flooded threads it turns out the car DOES turn over when it is flooded. so i'm thinking two things.
1. the battery is charged but not charged enough to get the starter going. The battery has been sitting in the car since mid to late 2006 on the lot. so it may be time to replace the battery.
or
2. the starter is shot, which i doubt since its only 2700 miles old. alright, i'll give you guys an update later.
i stayed home today to study for a HUGE history test today. I have to know all the countries and capitals of the world. 300 fill in the blank test. haha alright! time to get started

I was waiting for some of the Cali guys to post their dyno plots before I mentioned this but Jeff was seeing 20 to 30 hp increases in n/a cars by installing the Cobb AP. Now that required tuning on the dyno so keep that in mind. The Cali dyno was reading very low for some reason even for a Mustang.
So any of you guys on the "let's wait and see" list can know that you will gain somewhere between 20 & 30 horsepower, better mileage on the highway (can't help you much in town), better cooling, higher redlines, removal/lack of any pesky cels and just an overall better operation.
I've heard some of you say it's expensive but watch you add marginal stuff at near the price of the AP for little if any hp increase.
I am arranging for Jeff to come to Vegas (as soon as he can clear up a date) to tune my car on the dyno and there is no reason that he could not do others at the same time. He was not able to do the earlier date but I'll nail him down. As soon as I nail him down I will again set a Dyno Day event.

*pouts* Figures I am broke.
At least mon. I have an interview.
Have to add this to the to do list. esp. if it doesn't suffer warrenty.
O wait I have an '08 engine. Could I still use it?

When I was unable to drive due to an overly large belly (the only thing I hated about being preggers but all fixed now.) Then after having the post delivery surgery healing. My dad drove my car. That way, there would be no sitting for months issues.
And one time he flooded my engine (sometimes he still treats it like a regular car) and all of the electrical would turn on. but would not turn over. Had it towed in and all it needed was to be unflooded. No charge, But I was so freaked cause I just got it working perfectly.
Is all better now. So don't totally discount the engine flooding. It may be a cause. Or if Murphy is being really mean it is more then one thing.

YIKES Where and what was the speed/speed limit. My buddy got a $300.00 ticket yesterday on Bermuda and Silverado for $300.00 and that was only 14mph over the limit that means you were going aroung 40 over. That estimate was being generous more like 45-50?
I thought the cops were cool about speeding here? Not DUI's though.

Don... you can also call Craig P. Kenny ... they don't charge for almost any moving violation (except for DUI), they can reduce the fine down to like a parking ticket and nothing against your record... 702-380-2800 and tell 'em your situation.
I just used their services... and satisfied w/ outcome.
