k, well this is weird. I KNOW for a fact that no lights were left on in my car the night before, and i had nothing on in the car. but somehow the battery simply got drained. i took it to the dealership (the car started after we jumped it) and we had them test the battery and the alternator and starter. they said that they tested the battery (after using a battery charger) and it seemed fine, as well as the alternator and starter. I guess it was just a fluke that my battery was drained. but if it happens again i'll make sure they replace the battery this time. sorry no pictures of the stuff so far. i have been REALLY busy and seriously have not had time to even grab my camera let alone upload some pictures.

MY RIMS CAME IN TODAY!!

my friend said he can try and mount them on tuesday. ("try" as in he has never stretched a 9.5 inch wide tire on 225/45s before. but hopefully he can get them on. if not i'll have to take it to a specialty shop. so armin lets hope that both of us can get our rims by next fridayish or sooner

YAY, for the both of us!! Before, I put my rims on I will need to get 2 new tires, and get my car registered/insuranced. I got a question since it's been a while, what do I need to go and get my car re-registered again? I also need to do a smog check right?

Yehey! As far as getting it registered ("re-registered" ), did you tell the DMV that your car was inoperable? I think you would have to show that it was in fact inoperable otherwise they're just assume that you've been driving w/ out a valid registration all this time. I say this because when i purchased a motorcycle before, i did not originally register it because i was going to be used as a track bike... after a couple months i changed my mind and wanted to use the bike for street use... when i went to the DMV, they charged me a penalty for the couple months that it wasn't registered. Hopefully your situation works out better since you could tell them that your car was inoperable... but again, they may want some sort of proof/documentation or such... good luck and get yer 8 back on the road!

AJ & Mario: The next open dates that I have are May 24th and May 31. I would be happy to help with your breaks then. Please give me a little notice so that I do not schedule on top of your time.

Well, I cancelled my registration because my car was wrecked, it's not like I just waited until it expired. I told them why I cancelled my registration, I think.. I will have to find out for sure once I go down there.. How much is registration again?

BTW, that unicycle would be fun to ride, but I don't know if I would attempt to ride any type of unicycle ride..

That's fine with me, even though it really doesn't matter to me.. Most people on here know that I do most of my work in the Sun.. I have all the tools that we need, so don't worry about that. What time would you wanna start, I would prefer doing it a little bit earlier if it's okay with you. Just give me a for sure date & time, and it'll get done!

Good luck stretching a 9.5 in rim on a 225. Jordan it can be done but if its your buddies 1st time stretching tires i would be careful. Bring it to eastern and 95 the 24 mexican tire place. There really good. They already had a hard time mounting mikes 225 45 on a 9in rims but they were able to do it. Discount tires will not mount them!! Also go on youtube and look up stretching tires, its pretty crazy they even use lighter fluid to pop the bead. Post pics a.s.a.p or if you need help looking for a place pm me or mike.

God, damn that looks hot Jordan.. I miss my black Mustang! As I said, I only had those smoked lights on my car for about a month. So, they were still brand new basically!
