What a week!! Since, I've been gone the whole week and haven't posted on a daily base, I'm gonna try to responde to all the comments in one window box. First, I wanna say that i'm very happy that the meet you guys had turned out so great!!

- Phil, I wanna say thanks for noticing my efforts for trying to put all this together.. Those of you who know or met me from other meet-ups have heard me say that meet-ups is about people getting together with other good people who have a common interest, and having a good time. I think, two meets spots might be a good idea.. One at Carls Jr. and another location more convient for those not located in Henderson.. I know it would encourage more people to make it out to meets. The only problem with having meets on different areas of town is that you will have people that will say, "Oh, I will wait until next week when they come to my side of town". Eventually you have different groups of people at each location and only a small handfull that travel to wherever the meet is no matter what side of town. I know from experience with past car clubs..

- Anthony, thanks for the the good feedback.. I really like the way it looks, and I will be buying it soon as i get all my bills paid off and the VR RX8 fixed. The trunk costs $680.19 USD.. Besides that, i love the new rims!! Can't wait to see how they look installed..

 

It makes no difference to me where the meets are located. My problem is that I am spoken for most other evenings except for Friday. During the week is bad for me as I go to work at AM and am involved with several trade associations that hold meets during the week. Saturdays belong to my wife. You guys plan them and I will come if possible. You have a point Armin, unless it's something special we should keep a common meeting point. I think every one who came to the last meet enjoyed themselves.

I've been thinking really hard on finding a solid meet spot.. Carls Jr. is a nice place for meet-ups, especially with all the traffic passing by there. You want people to stop by, and check out your meets. You don't wanna have a meet somewhere, where its empty and where no one will see our meets. We need to get the word out to other RX-8's in town about the site and meets.

WOW! Pure sex on wheels!! How much did they run you? Did you get new tires with it as well? Too bad you don't have OEM wheels that I can buy off you.. I know, someone here has a set of their OEM's laying around in their garage or something.. I know, I mentioned to Mike about asking Gary if he was selling his OEM wheels, but never got an answer.

I PMed them asking some questions about who has one so I can ask some questions about the cooling. Not too expensive so if it works I'll get one. The seller is reputable.

 

It's a tough life, but somebody has to live it. It could be worse you have a nice car, a job, a girl friend and a place to go home to. Some are not so fortunate. Pay day should be here soon

The neat thing about a meet is that you need no money, it's just guys with the same interest getting together.
