Hopefully, I'll be sporting a Petite SC in my car by SSXII. Just click on my garage ( https://www.rx8club.com/vbgarage.php?do=view&id=27606 ) to check out my current mods.
I'm going to get my sways next month and then some TE37's along with new seats by this SSXI.

S/C?! That's a great mod, I loved driving Phil's S/C 8. It's like heaven, but on wheels.. I'm curious about these 2 mods you got done (Custom Fabricated Intake & Custom Painted Engine Bay). Got any pictures of those?

I did... dunno where it's at though. I'll take a pic in the morning. I have the side of my engine painted black to indicate where the rotors is in for looks. I also painted my engine cover, battery cover, and ecu cover. My custom intake is top secret for now. Just to brag a bit, I got the highest NA and non-AP over at the SoCal Dyno Day so the intake DID do something.

Oh, and if you have the OEM intake box, take a look at my intake DIY in the DIY forum.

Oh, and my favorite mod so far is my blinker mod. It grabs ALOT of RX-8 owners attention.

Here's one for example from the spotted thread:

I told him that it was custom and that I made it myself and he said COOL, nods his head, and drove off. I didn't know my blinking clear corner mod would attract that much attention from other drivers....

Nice, post the pictures when you take some.. You can just black out your intake, if you don't wanna show it. Can you atleast describe your intake, does it have a big or small filter. Also, any other details you can mention..

The blinker mod is awesome, it's not something that I would do personally.. But, it stills looks good! How did you come up with the idea of doing it in the first place?

Good idea! It's always good to get ideas from other cars for the RX-8.

I only took off the Clear Corners and half of the top wheel well.

It takes only 10 minutes to do and about $8 in supplies.

2 Amber Bulbs, 2 194 sockets, and a beer.
I already had the wiring and drill bit at home so I didn't factor that in.

I drilled into the Clear Corners with a 1/2' drill and then put the 194 socket in and it was a perfect fit. Wired it to my turn signals and done.

I have something to add to your DIY
If you want to do this mod, just make sure you have enough wire to run from the clear corner(s) to the turn signal(s) then tap into them and your good.

Yep, I decided to use clamps when I was splicing it in, whenever I decide not to be lazy, I will solder them on.
I used about 1 foot worth of wiring for each corner so that I won't accidentally yank on it and blow a fuse when I'm changing bulbs in the future.
