So......... I was looking at my car earlier and decided what to do with it so i j=just thought id share my plans with you guys, see what ya'll thought.
Im going to be getting the Knight Sports Kit and then painting the part of the bumper that is still black, winning blue, i thought this would look good and seeing as though i will be getting the Ganador or MazdaSpeed mirrors i thought the continuation of the blue would look really good from the front to back.

Does anyone have any pics of the stock bumper painted, its pretty hard to search for.

What do you think?

later in the year ill get an exhaust and some other ****

I think that would look good and would not stand out as much. Not so blunt. If your going to autox get them springs on you will feel so much more conf in the exit of the apex. I getting the same springs but everone is on back order so I'm holding off till my point of contact calls me.

Phil, I would love to see a autox event with all the 8's from vegas. Maybe some come in from AZ & CA too! that would be cool.

So why don't we all just agree to go to a regularly scheduled SCCA autocross?

http://lvrscca.org/ says there's one on Sept. 29th.

DonJuan, was your car at Courtesy Imports on Thursday last week? I can't remember what the wheels looked like but there was a car with the exact same bodykit and side vent thingy's that you have....

That is what I would like to see happen (and was trying to write). They have beginner catagories and all can come.

Hay guys - I'm not back from my first vacation yet but will be back soon. Charles R. Hill is delayed in his arrival. See this link = https://www.rx8club.com/west-rx-8-forum-34/get-together-phils-vegas-126861/

We need to change the day for the meet to Thursday from 6 - 10pm. Sorry but
Ray has a problem.

haha no ur not the only 2. i check it daily...just have nothing to say. alsooo i do have a question this time around

https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-interior-audio-electronics-24/thought-about-subwoofer-placment-127031/

its a thread a made but so far no one has responded...i like music...and i like bass but i dont want ot have to play my music at the highest volume to get some bass out of the stock system. i dont want anything like 2 12 inch subs...i dont want all the bolts in the car to come loose!!! but i thought maybe 2 small subs could fit in a custom sub box in the compartment inbetween the 2 back seats....thx to any of u guys who think this may be possible....have any of u guys seen anything like this before??

the space is i9.5 inches wide so i think an 8 inch sub could fit inside it...with .75 of and inch for box construction...i know nothing about electrical stuff

i have a 12inch sub in my trunk, i love it, but i wish i would have gave it more thought as to the placement, i would like a custom box for it. I plan on changing the standard speakers and tweeters real soon.

where would you get the work done jordan?

Mike has a 12" JL sub in the back of his 8. Sounds real good. I have not seen his set up but sounds good.

That's how it gets sometimes, people get into RX-8 so much and they come on this site actively, until they have something more exciting going on in their lives. Out of 27 local members, there is maybe 5-6 active members right now. A lot of the members check daily, like they say.. But, none of them posts everyday, so that's one of the reason's why this thread gets so quiet. You don't always have to talk about your RX-8 on here, you can talk about whatever is going on in your life. Besides that, I told Phil that I will try my best to make it to the garage meet tomorrow, as long as nothing comes up!

yeah there are a lot of bad drivers. Depends what line of business your in, hours can be a problem, i wish that with my job i worked in LA, start at 10 finish at 6 closed on sunday and only open from 12 on sat. I work til midnight a lot and have some fucked up hours that take over my life. I dont get saturdays and sundays off so that interferes with my marriage and my personal life. Its hard and can have a stress on marriage and relationships around you.
Thats my main problem. Food isnt really all that good out here too.
Its either fast food **** or completely start it from scratch stuff. I have talked to ppl who have lived in other cities and they say that its just like that here.

I can't speak for your hours, but retail and hospitality mean strange hours. If you choose to work in those fields you have to suffer the consequences. Now food is something I know about (as you can tell when you see me). The food locally is as good as you want. If your in a hurry then that's what you get fast food. There are a mucho restaurants in this town that serve excellent food. But of course you never think it's as good as where you came from but memories play tricks on you. One way to find the good places is to ask people their favorites and try a few you could be surprised. Don't discount the local casino restaurants, while not all the food is good they all have specialties that are very good. I haven't been to GB in 30 years but the memories were not very good about the food served then. In fairness, my partner was just in London and tells me it's changed with lot's of nice restaurants.

the food when i went to london was bland and **** yeah, that was a few years ago, i hate the place
but i mean i was talking with my friends from the east coast and i was saying how i liked it that i could go 5 seconds up the road and get a really good chinese take away...here i have to go all the way to china town....i dont wanna have to do that. My friends from the east coast said that it was the same there you could just pop out and you could get good food.

What about supermarkets in vegas, isnt the choice a bit limited.....i have 2 isles of frozen food and tv dinners, in one half thats pizza the other is frozen veg, which is good but for something to go woth those i have to make fresh or buy a tv dinner.

Your friends on the east coast are most likely full of it. Unless you live on a pier in Maine, you have to drive for a good lobster dinner and the same goes for any other food. Hell a short drive for a friend of mine that lives in up state NY is 30 miles for a "good restaurant". Our China Town ain't 30 miles from anywhere in the valley. Hint: Find Chinese food you like in China Town and ask the proprietor if he owns another store anywhere else. Most do.

You have a point on markets, but there are specialty stores for some types of food in the valley, just not very convenient. The markets meet the demands of the shopper. But cook? Hell no there are restaurants I haven't tried yet.

Yeah I think its what you want. I like to drive and live in the outskirts of the city. I dont want to live down the street from a quickie mart and hear the ghetto bird every Friday when it gets robbed. I lived in SF CA with my bro for some time and it was the same there. Every where we went was far and had a larg line due to the good food and small venue.
It sucked. If its a hot spot I make dinner res. It not its eat and be gone!
