hahahaha yeah swarovski is not an age thing.. its more a girl thing... google it... what dpes premix it? and my rx8 is not used.. i bought an 07 back in 07.. and what does first AT mean? automatic? i dont know how to drive a stick haha i tried drying my bfs carrera and couldnt do it haha he got a turbo and didnt want me to drive it lol

Premix is a must for the Rotary and check your oil every fill up after all you live in a dry/hot part of the us.

Stick is not hard. My Girl learned in one or two days/nights.

I have seen your that plate around the west side of town by the lakes lol

The best one to use is idemitsu oil and premix. It is the shiznit
Read the premix thread. In a nutshell what it will do is make your car run smother you can feel that right off the bat. Also it will help lube your internals of your engine. So thats a plus. Plus its make by the best; Jap that know what there doing and have make this stuff for Rotarys. Cant go wrong. I use some every top off and so should every other Rotary owner. But hey what do I know.
I have a case at my house let me know if you want to try a quart out.

Yup, a/t is a automatic transmission. BF sounds like a jerk. As soon as I get my super charger hooked back up I'll let you take it for a spin. Not as fast as a carrera but it will impress.

also have you heard of Eneos oil and is it any good?
but let me read up a little about the premix first heard of it but never thought to bother

Premix is combined with your fuel. It's kinda like a 2 cycle where you mix the oil and gas. Idemitsu is available in town but hard to find so on line is be best place to get it. If interested Dominion or I will advise you. If you live on the west side give me a call and I will front you a quart and that will last a while. It will make your engine last longer and perform better. You should notice the better performance on the first tank when premixed.

DO NOT RUN THIS ENGINE LEAN!!!! iF YOU RUN IT TOO LEAN YOU WILL DETONATE!!! If already have the AP installed, then get an upgrade map from Jeff (if you purchased it from him). It's and easy fix for Jeff and easy to install.

Okay how do I know if it is running TOO lean? I know I am supposed to be in the 11's and 12's for my AFR's but what numbers would indicate that I am running too lean 13 and 14, 15, 16 etc. Thanks Phil.

Lower = Richer, Higher = Leaner

Air / Fuel = AFR. if the top number gets bigger (more air than fuel...LEAN), your AFR gets bigger. If the bottom number gets bigger (more fuel than air...RICH), your AFR goes down.

So what number is an indication that I am too lean? Is 14 too lean? At what point am I pushing detonation?

hey guys any one know the problem of this, I installed my agp exhaust and the cel showed after a day and I went to a sport car store to pick up a o2 bung and they installed the bung for me and the cel went off again, and I decided to disc the battery so that I could turn the CEL off. When I reconnected the dsc was flashing like a strobe light and the trac light was off too so i reset the pcmand then now i cant turn on the dsc/trac when i turn it off and the idle is very rough(right after i gotgas and started the car the idle bounced 100-200rpm lower sat at 500 and it shut off once

anyone have ideas
to make the dsc work and fix the idle prob"?

This is a copy of MM suggestions from an earlier post:

That won't clear the KAM and can do some other funky things if it isn't complete. It will also erase your radio presets and clock settings.

There are two reset procedures, one for the NVRAM and the other for the KAM. Neither will erase your radio presets and such like the method SpooledUp7 posted:

1) With the key in the off position, press and hold the odometer reset button and turn the key to on;
Continue to hold the odo button until the odometer reads "TEST" and then release.
2) Turn the key to off and repeat step one.

This will reset the entire PCM except the KAM which contains the sensor profiles amongst other things. You can reset it with the familiar procedure:

1) Turn the key to on
2) Depress the brake pedal rapidly 20 times in a row until the oil pressure gauge sweeps to halfway and back again.

Call anytime. I work behind the Stratosphere and if you work close I'll bring some to work. Yes you need to premix every tank. I'll give you a small bottle to keep a fillups worth in your car. I'll PM you my cel number.

hey just curious, after disc my battery my traction off light went off and the dsc light was flashing insanely fast will one of those help fix it?(when i turn it off it wont turn back on)
