Keep me apprised - looks like I have other car problems - trying to find out what I need to fix it. Steering cel came on and I lost power steering on the way home last night. I'll look at it tonight and see if I can figure it out.

Hey this happen to me when I had my AT. They had to change some part that controlled the power steering. Its located on the passanger side of the car and if the wires or unit is bad your power steering will go in and out. Mine was not bad due to my wreck. It just went out over time. It was about $1,300.00 for parts and labor. But my ins co. covered it due to the fact I was in a wreck just before it went out so we all kinda blamed it on that lol and everyone was happy. The dealer got there money the ins co. covered it so I was happy.
PM Jeff (MM) he knows how to fix it. Hell he started a thread about it in the tech section.

Ray tells me that there was a problem with the plug on the power steering. He thought he fixed it but it does not look like he did. Trouble is that he tells me it's under the air box tray. Now that may be real fun to get to.

AJ, I got that 08 radio from ebay but it did not have the interface with it. Max "Blue Knight" has a 08 radio with satillite capability but I may have to pick up the Sirus module. Max is brining up the radio tomorrow or Wednesday to we will be able to figure it out. Oh ya I got the lights also. See ya.

Here are a few of the things that AJ and his helper are up to presently or will start on Friday evening/ Saturday Morning:
1. License plate light mod
2. Puddle/Foot lights inside
3. A little bling on the inside of the car (on going).
4. If Ray remembered to send me the new plugs, we will change them also.
5. Removal of the existing 04 stock radio & 6 disc changer.
6. Installation of an 08 stock radio with satellite capability, satellite module & 6 disc changer.
7. Find the problem with the power steering plug and repair it. Now if your free on Friday late afternoon/evening or Saturday morning and know where that plug is then you need to be a my house. I will be working blind on that plug and I am sure we could use the help. Gill, Call me and let me know if your coming so we don't start the plug and screw it up.

As soon as we are done with the radio, I will have two radios for sale one will be a stock 04 Bose radio with 6 disc player and a stock 08 Bose radio with 6 disc player. If anyone is interested let me know before I post them in the for sale forum.
