I does give a good added sound - I want to make sure that what I add enhances the sound not destroy it.
I don't have any faith in the local Mazda dealers or their mechanics. They will do as little as possible and charge the most they can. I will never complain about the charge but expect them to make an effort. Most of the tests to find the fault can be performed at home in your garage or car port. The DIY sect ion of this Forum is very helpful - you lack tools?- well this is a club and one of us is sure to have what is needed.
Flip, come to the meet next Friday and I'll buy you one (or two) at the place we all end up. Actually that goes for all that come to the meet that are over 21.

Some one called Ryan bout my exhaust just wondering if it was any of you guys or not cause he wants to buy it tonight at 7:30.... so if it wasnt one of you guys, last chance is here... he's picking the whole thing up for 250.

You have the same year Shinka like mines. I thought all the bugs were out by 06. How many miles? Let's test it out mang.So I came out of the M casino after cashing in on Cyborg's kill of Gina Carano and two ol dudes were standing outside my car talking excitedly about the mods he made on his 8. He said he had CAI, Catback exhaust and Coilovers. I asked him what brand? "Zoom-Zoom" he says. I said MazdaSpeed? he said yeah. Says he bought it brand new in 04 and now has og 168K miles on it. Also he can take turns at 68mph with the coilovers, it used to be 53mph. Says with the Mazdaspeed exhaust it sounds like nothing else out there. I says he doesn't really have an 8. I'll be at the Rhino for a bachelor party if anyone's looking for me.

LOCAL MEET SCHEDULE
I feel that if we have a scheduled meeting time and day we could get a turn out.
As of July 2009 we will have a (one) scheduled meeting on the third Friday of every month. The scheduled meeting will take place every month and we will meet at the In & Out parking lot on West Sahara and will start at 7pm. Some months there will / may be trips to various locations or to get food. 
I know that some of you work strange hours and accommodations to the side trips can be made for you.
The next meet will be Friday August 21, 2009 (third Friday). Make some plans so that you will be there

I started with stock, had it all hooked up and then went back to stock, almost. I've got different plans for it now, and I'm looking to changing up the look completely different.

You sure your BF isn't writing this stuff for you? That would've been a good question. Anyhow, apex seals aren't the culprit on the renny engine, it's the new side ports and side seals getting carb build up from what I have been told and read. I use seafoam to clean out the carb deposits, did it last weekend and got about 20 minutes of thick nasty smoke.
