Opps wrong thread.
I can't see the pix - email it to me. I can't take a pix worth a dam and I never seem to have the time when Anthony has it. I'll just wait until I get a good pix.

OK, it has happened again. Kasumi is giving me more problems. The VR guys are helping me out but I could use a little help on some parts maybe or maybe a second opinion on the problem.

So I have the new clutch and flywheel and the replacement tranny with 12K. She won't going into gear when the car is on. I can start her in gear but she wil try to move forward or backward depending on which gear I am trying to use. As soon I take her out of first or reverse I can't put her into any other gear.

One of the VR guys, thinks it might be the Master or Slave. Phil you gave me a contact a while ago to get a decent price on parts. If I could get that again so I can price those two items I would appreciate it. Or if anyone else has a good spot for me to check maybe in town I would appreciate it as well. I was going to check Meyers tommorrow. Ideas anyone? Does the problem sound like the Master or Slave or does it sound like anything else?

GET AN AT!!!!! God I have been waiting to do that........ See your PMs. You might also have broken your clutch pedal (common thing) and it is not engaging properly - If we have a slave cylinder your friends might be right. Does not sound like the fork assembly is engaging the throw-out bearing properly. Call the number I gave you and ask him.

Yeah, automatic is NEVER going to happen. But thanks for the number, I'll check with him once we have a better idea of what is wrong with Kasumi. The VR guys are being super helpful!

You'll have to try mine again....I found that I had some oil on the MAF and it was keeping it from performing. I felt it on the way home from the meet and Easy_E1 dug into it. It had some oil from the air filter on it. It was really running shitty on the way home.

I have no issues with driving your car again

But ultimately having more control over the car or being able to truly engine brake and losing less hp in the transmission will almost always have me driving a stick. Don't get me wrong, your car is amazing. But stick is just too much fun! Even with my apparent headaches.

That's why they keep the stick - some people like them.

I drove a 370Z today and they said they are going to stop making the stickshifter and go to paddleshifters on all their cars. So I bought it.

I was kidding, other than the hp and torque it was pretty numb during regular driving. It didn't have the feedback in the stearing wheel I got in the 8. Maybe it's just me. Is there something special about the rotary to make it feel so nice in just everyday driving? Also when I floored it, it sounded rough like it wanted to blow up.

I test drove a 350 at the same time I was buying my 8. Yes there is more HP and torque but the 350 is much heavier and the return basically evens out. The 8 handles much better and is seriously less bulky for a sports car. I am not hating on Nissan as who wouldn't love a GTR. But everything of the Z just felt so big where as the 8 just fit like a glove and drove like a dream.

Glad you were kidding. I don't think I can imagine me driving anything else other than a Mazda rotary for a long time to come.

Surprisingly it did feel heavy like a tank. I have no problem with Nissan, I guess I got used to the 8.

Hay Chunbelievable, I see that you have determined that it is your throw out bearing.

How come you don't bring that pretty lady with you to the meets?

Hey Phil. We think it is the throw bearing but can't be sure until we get her off the ground this weekend. There is still the possibility we are looking at the slave cylinder. If anything we are pretty damn positive the clutch and tranny themselves are intact, yay!

As for my wife Pam, she used to go with me to the meets in CO but she would get a little bored since she really isn't into cars all that much. She loves Kasumi, or at least loves that I love her, but it is just not really her thing. I can bring her and the kids around though, it could be fun.

Ryan and Jen met her last night while she was in super frumpy mode. Most of the time she is a sweats and T kinda girl

I'm thinking of a meet and drive on a Sunday. Looking for a spot to go that is a little different. She may enjoy that.......

If you need a garage and tools I have them......floor jack, jack stands, compressor with tools, full range of hand tools. Give me a little notice and you are welcome to use them.

I probably won't have a car back by this Sunday She did say that a cruise with the kids might be fun one of these days. When I get my car back on the road she would probably be down.

As for the tools I definitely appreciate the offer. Ray from VR is going to bring by a jack, stands, and air tools when we dig into her. If an issues arises with him and he can't help me out I will figure how to get my car to your garage and work in her there. Ryan and Jen know Ray pretty well by now and have been working with him a bunch. Hopefully you get to meet him soon. The VR guys have been really helpful and are a good community in themselves. I think AJ has been to a meet before and Gilbert brought Den by last week.

The lake would be nice but if you come thru the south end they charge you and if you come thru the north end the road is still under construction. The dam is so crowded because of the road work. The Red Rock and Mt. Charleston drives are over used. I'll find some place! Maybe a little farther
