Felipe: Good luck with the dealer - don't let them give you ****...... You will have to re-due the throttle body bypass when it comes back.
Chun: I just could not see the loose vac. hose but knew it was one. Glad you found it. Very happy to hear it runs better. Advise to you is to get new coil set before it gets warm. AP can wait a little. Talked to Ray last night and he does not think the pedal has anything to do with your second gear but call him and run it by him - there may be something I am not asking that he needs to know.
I forgot to tell you that while your old pedal was shinier, it as warped and out of alignment. When we welded it we put them in a jig and yours would not fit properly - we straightened out. That could be why it feels different and also you had a complete clutch change while this was all going on.
AJ: You are welcome.......Sorry we could not help you change it out - hope you did not hurt the leg doing it. 09 pump not that great ether but better than stock. It will require some rework of the system. I doubt very much that the dirty filter was your problem as the stock pump has some problems.
Armin has changed one of the pedals now and he can help you with the new one.
I think that Chun is close on the art portion of the T shirt and the mug design. As soon as I can get the pricing set in stone, we'll decide what we have to charge and how we want to handle it. I am hoping to keep the entry fee down to $20 or under, just enough to cover the costs.
Flip: I lov work........now I do feel sorry for you with the family coming
Gil: You have become like a ghost..........appear for a moment on line and then disappear. If I ever get to see you I'll try and find out why you changed your screen name and wtf it's supposed to mean. I'll let you know when the next clutch pedal is ready.

Phil: I had the issue with second gear before we switched out the pedal. It started after we switched out the clutch. AJ thinks that replacing the tranny fluid will help the problem. I'll let you know how it goes.

It's quite today... Like creepy quiet.
Oh BTW, Pam (my wife) spotted Felipe today on Spring Mountain. I think it is pretty cool that she is recognizing other cars already and she has really only met the 8 guys once. The said she saw the black 8 with black rims and polished lip. Then she recognized the driver.

Good luck again dude. My car was 6 lbs under spec. If you have a good experience with them then maybe I'll bring Kasumi up there. Granted you are like 20 lbs under spec but still. I want a new engine.

I got 2 done now, I put on AJ's today and everything went smooth this time! Took me about 30 minutes this time around, probably less.. It took me about 5-10 minutes to unscrew everything and unclip the plastic parts off of the clutch pedal, and it took me about 10-15 minutes to put it all back together. It took Gilbert, 10-15 minutes to take off the rubber pedal and put it on the other one.
Yes thank you Armin for getting that on for me, I know it was an ackward position to work in.
Thanks Phil for giving me the upgraded clutch peddle it is a lot stiffer now and the friction point is a lot higher than where it used to be but I think I am used to it now. My clutch peddle that I will return to you is in imacualate condition compared to Chun's old clutch peddle. I notice some cracks in the plastic bushings on his compared to mine. So whoever gets the next one will be very lucky. I will try to get the parts back to Phil ASAP. I highly recommend this upgrade.
I have put the new fuel filter and filled up the tank and put 63 miles on it already and no problems yet. I will wait to see when it gets down to a quarter of a tank to see if the problem replicates itself since that is when the fuel pumps reveal their faulty nature.

Felipe: Did they test the engine?
Chun: Keep in mind that if you do not fail the compression test they are going to charge you for it. While I think it's CS, I understand why. Since it's obvious there is a problem they could tie it into an oil change or other service work and give it for free or a minimal charge.
Armin: I knew you would get it down - not that hard. I watched Ray change one in a parking lot in 20 minutes (less the dam rubber pad). Soon you will be the official pedal changer.
AJ: You should have good luck with the pedal. I thought Chuns was pretty good so if yours is better the next guy is really going to be happy. As soon as I have the exchange back I will get it ready for the next person. The next person on the list is Gil (if he wants to change)
That fuel pump never gave me a problem - my reason for changing it was due to the s/c factor. I am going to try and have a upgraded one at the house for others. I have to redesign that dam tool.

Hell - you thinking of getting rid of the 8 for a Chevy? I can recommend this head doctor - you better get checked quick Well I don't want to fix a pedal that you may just give up - let me know.
Phil-I have no doubt your fuel pump is good. I'm just not 100% sure that the fuel pump is the cause of my problems. I hope so, because I think I've changed/checked everything else that could cause it.

Here's the final design for the t-shirts and flyers. Mug design is still to come. I like this treatment the most. Sorry the rotor didn't make it but it just wasn't visually making any sense nor did it fit the style. To include it would have been just for the sake of adding it and that aint how I work
Yeah Gil you get no peddle since you are buying a chevy...He'll never do it.
Chun- Pic looks good. Hmm if it is getting worse we might not be able to save it with just tranny fluid, but it's worth a shot, it helped mine and gils shifting issues. Let's shoot for tomorrow what time you off?
Phil- The tool worked fine after I duct taped the ends off to give it a nice snug fit, but I still used the tapping method on the tool. I will be a professional fuel pump changer. If that new pump works for you and if I find out it was my fuel pump was the culprit, I would strongly consider upgrading.

1. the girls have to stay
2. What makes us different from all the other cars is the rotor. I would rather see the car go and a rotor take it's place (even though i like the car)
3. I lov the addition of the "it's OK to be jealous" line
Now I am only one guy with all of us taking part in this venture. I will go with the majority.
AJ: I would prefer T shirts with pockets - can you check with your bud on the price of the screen printing and T shirts please. Make sure you get pricing on T shirts up to 3X

My vote of course is the car stays. I'll put the rotor on the mug design. As for this weekend Phil, if it warms up and you got nothing to do, do you mind if I come over as pressure wash my engine bay? You've seen it, it's dirrrrrrrrty.
