Vegas 8 Members.........I am pleased to announce a joint meet this month with Sin City Rotary on the third Friday of this month......... No place yet picked but I will be announcing it as soon as it's picked. Just want you to set aside the time to come..........

There are already many of you that belong to Sin City Rotary along with Vegas 8s so having a joint meet will be just like old home week. For those that do not know them, they are a mixed group of 7s and 8s who are a tight knit group of fun loving rotary enthusiasts.

If you have any questions please post them or PM me.......

You have this kind of free time, Gil? lol

We already have a gay MazdaManiac doppelganger (mazdamaniac#1fan). You should have hooked up with him before you bothered to start a new profile.

If I can find it I have one you can use until you get the car back - you really don't need it except to bring back to stock

Hey guys i just bought my 04 8 about 2 weeks ago from the Centennial mazda dealership. So far im loving every bit of it. However i just went to get my tires balanced at discount tire because of a slight vibration in the right rear side of the car and the techs found that the wheel is bent and doesnt spin correctly which is the cause of my vibration. My question is whether or not i should even attempt to talk to the dealer because i have had some of the worst experiences with them and the vehicle was sold as is. Or am i just better off finding a replacement OEM wheel. Thanks for any input and once again this car rocks.

^^

"AS IS" means "AS IS". Drive it out the dealer and it's over, no warranty whatsoever. You need a oem replacement wheel...sorry.

my friend that works at another dealership in town was saying that that kind of issue should have been checked under a basic safety inspection and shouldnt have been sold to me if one of the wheels was bad. any thoughts?

^Your friend is right. Look up the laws of buying cars "as is". As is does not stand for "your fucked".

Our Mazda dealer is an ******* and will most likely blame the wheel on you. Gil is somewhat correct, "AS IS" from a dealer means "safe to drive" and that is all. The wheel did not make it unsafe. Sorry but welcome to "Courtesy Mazda"(owner of both locations). If the engine blew a mile down the road, tough.... once you make it off the lot after your test drive, you own it. There is an "implied warranty" against unsafe items such as breaks but after that forget it.

"As is" is the key here. But there is Lemon Laws in Nevada. Look them up.

This is a question for Mazda Maniac:

You sell the CobbAP right? Can you custom tune it as well? When is the next time you will be out in Vegas because Ryan and I have some ideas and want to mull them over with you as far as tuning goes.
