It has tint. Black seat covers with white or silver flames on them and the guy had the "oh **** face!" on

Anyway I see this 8 a lot now. Hope he learns how to drive

No one on here can get in touch with scott. Plus this item is used and no longer made. This item was purchased used from a member on this site. Any issues with it or installation will have to turn to a local that has this installed on his 8.
I think what I'm trying to say is fmmieres did not pay scott but a privat seller.

No need to defend, I respect your right to do business with whom ever you wish. A private local seller has no vested interest but other "dealers" do. Sorry I am a hard head when it comes to responsibility.

FYI, Scott has adds on this forum along with most other forums for his return to business and has had for most of this year.........

I will be gone this weekend. Maybe we can get a group together for a break job at my garage Saturday the 15th if you can last that long. I'm old, infirm and can't do much but I have all the tools and a garage to work in. Maybe we can get some more help.

Hell I don't remember ether.....been too long. If I ever get my compression tester back (shipped it off for calibration) we can test it again and call him if we can't figure it out.

You might as well install the coils as the stock coils could be part of your problem. If they have been on another car for a while, you may want to check into new wires - can't say until I see (and test) them.

Cooling aids for the summer:
1. BHR radiator is my 1st choice as it helped me the most. If you don't want a BHR avoid the Koyo as it is not very good.

2. Mazmart water pump and thermostat. Both of these are good to keep your water flowing and cool while moving or during short stops.

3. Get a Cobb AP, a good tune and have your fans programed to come on earlier. There used to be a little switch that you could buy to make your fans come on earlier but I haven't seen it lately. I recommend the Cobb because it also adjusts your tune to keep your car a little cooler.

4. If you already have not done it, raise the rear of your hood. Sounds dumb but it works.

5. Thermo wrap your A/C bypass "hose". It tends to radiate excessive amounts of heat into the engine bay and wrapping it will make your A/C work better.

6. Avoid large quantities of "anti freeze" in your cooling system. Just plain distilled water with a small amount of "anti freeze" seems to keep my car cooler.

You have a point but a lot of Nevada 8s do get very hot in the summer.........The items I mentioned are to be implemented according to your heating problem.......................The radiator is undersized and usually just that change is all you need....BUT.........................

Phil, you know more than you put on......breaks are not that hard. I enjoy having you over any time. Maybe we'll have time to attack some items on you car. Work on Chun and see if we can't get his guy over to the house to listen to trannies..............

Hell it's fun getting together to work on something. It's not that you can/can't do it yourself but the meet that makes it enjoyable.

Are you changing rotors? or just the pads? Be sure and bring a small bottle of break fluid but there is a AutoParts close by.

As always you are welcome.....see if your tranny guy wants to come by and maybe we can look at that to. Let's plan for Saturday the 15th at 10am. This weekend I'm on one of my little trips but no travel plans next week.

pizza!!

ok.. cauz i have to ask my boss to change my schedule

i just installed my new coils, wires etc..
and the car is just awesome!!!

the car is running about 8 degrees hotter than was before
i'm not sure what kind of temperature the intake should be but i guess mine is just too hot sometimes
for sure i will need some mods for the summer or i will be walking

phil how much loss i could have if my engine mounts are cracked or bad
cauz couple weeks ago my car started to make some noises i though it was coming from the belts/pulleys but i've been reading that it could be the engine mounts and sometimes in low rpm my car kind shake and almost die
maybe that's the problem

i will keep looking in the blog to see what i can find so on the 15th i would know better what could be the problem

Yea, look up what is written on the motor mounts. There are a multitude of complaints blamed on motor mounts. If you do buy some new motor mounts the only thing I know for sure is do not buy solid mounts. There is a guy in Georgia that rebuilds the stock mounts and beefs them up. The new stock motor mounts are supposed to be improved.

Yes on the heat. Mine got so bad that I considered parking it in the summer but is much better now. We can do some easy mods to help a little and see how that works. I still think that a new radiator is almost a must but there are peeps in Vegas who don't have anything but stock and seem to get by. Heat is the rotaries biggest enemy.
