that's a really a long time even if the guy is teaching
i found some goods DIY some say that i wasn't hard, i might have david helping me out so it could be faster but the worst part it's the part of the reinstall.. won't be good if when i'm done i have to say - humm where this bolt should be.. haha
so i will try to be very carefully on the reinstall

You have to get a spring compressor from auto zone. They are free to rent with a deposit. Otherwise good luck getting the spring off or back on the strut. Your car will need an alignment right after as well.
I didn't do it, I had the auto school install them... it took them forever! Two night because the guy was teaching the students as they were doing it. it took AJ like 5 or 6 hours... he is the only cat I know who has done it himself. Aside from Gilbert's friend Mike, but you'd have to pay him.

You can't get the springs back on the strut without a compressor, it's also seriously dangerous to take them off the strut without one. Renting is the best idea and all springs installations need it.
AJ, the short shifter was just delivered today. I know it only takes a few min to install and since you know what you are doing I can use your help. It is at my house though so I am not going to go home to grab it and bring it all the way back down to you... too many miles on Kasumi as it is. If you want to come up tonight I wouldn't be mad at you, but I won't be home til like 9:30.

AJ I have my Short Shifter in hand. I will be shopping for houses in your neighborhood tonight. Can I stop by after?
Phil, noise from my tranny is terrible today. I don't get why it is day to day. I am waiting to see what the short shifter does.

syncro saver... rebuilt tranny... new tranny... something. At least we know my engine is still fast even though my compression is a little low.

I have a line on two trannies at better prices. But I don't want to publicize them too much so people don't ****** them from me. I am in negotiations but I hate the idea of buying ANOTHER one! I am also going to check with Phil's transmission guy to see what he may think it is and if a repair is in order. Just need to get over there.

I already have a trashed but rebuildable one in my garage. Looks like I am going to be adding more. The crunching was really bad today.
