Hey Cat, I didn't realize you were going to head to Phil's today since you called last night and said the sound went away. Since I didn't see anything here in time I didn't think to head over. I promise I don't flake... well not too much. I will be there next weekend if you still need. The priority still has to be be Phil's starter. But if you need me to lend a hand of course I will help out.

lol i actually called phil and told him the sound was less, but i shouldve posted on forums no worries. when i was messing w/ it yesterday i think whoever installed the plugs before didnt use anti seize cause the plugs were rather difficult to get out. also the threading on 2 sockets looked stripped, but that couldve been from me, but idk. i read that i can use a helicoil to fix it but im rather uncomfortable w/ doing that myself. maybe phil or someone can recommend a mechanic to do it.

If the plugs are going in as easy as they were, there is not that much of a chance that they are cross threaded. I don't think that is the noise problem. Let's look again next weekend and see if we can find it.

Yup, me and Sara both did. Natalie was very cool (cute too) but she didn't get my estimate back to me yesterday so hopefully today. She really wants to do a lot to my car so I am a little worried about she will come back with. Like she wants to paint the whole suicide door for two small scratches or wants to remount my side skirts to fix the gaps. I'll let you know what she says.

I hope it's not too bad....They seem to do good work. Maybe I'll take mine over and go for a bulk rate

Kumbayaaaaaaaa...

Glad you heard from AJ. I am thinking we will definitely need an a few extra pieces to my CAI as the Air Mass Flow Sensor is directly connected to the stock air box and not the accordion. Let's take care of your starter first. I am not in a hurry about the CAI and we have a full summer to get that going.

You know me, I am touchy about my engine and I want to get everything right. Getting my damn CEL to turn off first would be nice.

I think that the MAF tube is removable (screws from the inside of the box) and if not I have my old one around some where. We'll play with it a little and decide how fancy you want to get. It sounded like you would rather have a shiny one than the old black one. I did forget one adaptor I think but we'll see.

What's the cel from? No cat?. If you'd break down an get an AP you could get rid of all those pesky cels.

I have better things to put $500 to. So no, I am not getting a Cobb. Especially since metro just gave me an estimate for my car and it is close to $2K! Not super happy about that either.

Just a little on the warm side..........................

Ouch....Not sure what you were going to have done other than the wing. Your right it does seem very high but again I am not sure what your having done. Why don't you give Fisher a try.....They come highly recommended.

If you can put up with the cels then your OK.

Yeah we got the text. It needs to be scanned. The plug might be causing your CEL. Call or text tomorrow to see if the garage is open.
