NV What a bunch of BS

Well I say the hell with everyone else on here that doesn't want to get together. Why be on here and be a member of the forum just to act like an *** to other fellow 8 owners. I don't know about the rest of you but I'm willing to give it another shot, I'm new to vegas and ready to get something crackin so if there is anyone out that would like to get it started and meet every now and then thats kool by me I don't care if it is just 1 person thats still more than none. Feel free to hit me up anytime.

Uh dude? We meet up all the time. We have been off the past two weekends but yeah, meets happen between us at least monthly. In fact there is a few of us getting together Saturday morning at Godfather Phil's garage.

Also, there was a meet tonight BTW, although I couldn't make it. We've got a good community and we help each other out A LOT. Welcome to town and the group.

Dgr8one21 Vegas has a bunch of great people really dedicated to rotaries. They have meets like once a week. I don't understand your attitude.
Like Chun mentioned a few of us will be at Phils8 place this Saturday. I'm driving up from Phoenix just to hang with these fine folks.

Your not reading very far......Every third Friday we meet at In & Out on West Sahara. This month we are going for a cruise to the dam and maybe willow beach. It's a combined meet every month with Sin City Rotary and Vegas 8s.

You are welcome to attend. A lot of the 8 owners are also members of Sin City Rotary and they have meets every week. Go to their forum to find out where the next meet will be.

You will also find that there is already a carvan set up to 7 stock.

If you would like to stop by my garage on Saturday, PM me today and I will give directions.

Dgr8one21, the group on here is referred to as the Vegas 8's, we as a group get together with them once a month. Otherwise like Chun and Easy stated there is a weekly meet of all rotories not just 8's and we all help eachother 8's or 7's or anything rotary powered lol

But I do like your statement that you don't care if it's just one person it's better then none, sounds as if you are willing to dedicate yourself .

Premix will not prevent your engine from going. Thats only a matter of time. With my new engine I'm using eunos/nippon 5w30 full synthetic oil from day one. GL with the new heart.

There are two places. Area 77 and Rotary Revolutions. Both are decent authorities on rotaries but not 8's. What's your issue? As a group we have done much of the work you can do on an 8 ourselves. Chances are one of us can help you and God Father Phil's garage is a general wrench meet at least twice a month.

Speaking of wrench meet. Good seeing Little Phil, Godfather, Easy and new guy Gr8one today. Got Gr8's air box defogged and compression tested while Easy was going all mad scientist on Phil's 8. Those custom space age pulley's are NUTS!!!

^^Well.. A few months ago my car had a hard time starting. I took it to the dealer n they said it was putting out low compression. So I got a new motor with no problem. But now it's doin the exact same thing. I could take it back to them but they took a week just to do the diagnosis

Also wheel hubs that will give me 5x4.5 so I can run a more commen wheel set up. This will also give me the RX-8 wheel hub bolt pattern. Lowering springs more like slammed springs haha. Sway bars endlinks (kinda). Cut and weld the fender wells so we can run some 225 17's with a sick off set. I may have left out some stuff. But its a 4 door so its good for the fam.
Let the madness begin!

Sorry to but in chun,

I would only mention area 77 to an enemy (just throwing in my 2 cents) and it's Rotary Evolution while he is not an 8 specialist he may very well be the best local "Shop" for rotaries as he well verse in auto and truck repair and rotaries. BlackHaloRacing would be first option for 8's but they are in Phoenix

But Marky702 as chun said among the local owners there is a ton of knowledge that is there to be shared, if your willing to turn a wrench tap the resource

Get the upgraded starter. Check the battery and spark like plugs and coils.

We can check coils, compression and plugs in about an hour. In fact you'll do most of it yourself with instruction. For quick diagnosis, all of those items are pretty damn simple.

Your starter could certainly be weak and if you are on the original starter then that certainly makes sense. Best thing to do would be check it. A starter is super simple installation so what you could do is install a good starter from one of our cars and see if the problem persists. If it goes away then you know you need a new starter.

13X is a great resource here in town for any OEM part. Ball park I have paid like 50% of retail for parts but it varies. Depends on the part though so you'll have to talk to 13X about it.

If the problem is outside of your compression, coils, plugs or starter than I am still confident we can all figure it out. Or if you prefer a shop then by all means take your girl to rotary revolutions or even area 77 and none of us will be butt hurt. I was just saying you have options to a shop.

Oh and Easy of BHR is in town until next Thursday, you may want to pick his brain while he is here. Couldn't hurt.
