Oh boy you picked a bad time to come to Vegas for meets.......... http://z10.invisionfree.com/SincityR...ex.php?act=idx

Try the above link and look for meets. The Vegas 8s and the Sin City Rotary meet as a group every third Friday except December.....The Sin City Rotary meet every Thursday evening (except for the third Friday) that most of the Vegas 8s go to. I would not expect a big turn out in December due to the holidays.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS FLIP...........

I actually dunno about the design. Jess says she is working on it, which is more I can say for me. IM her here, her screen is sephyobsessed. She has it going... Ultimately if you don't dig what she came up with I'll scramble to make it happen.

Friday I was home playing video games... A MUCH NEEDED stay at home night. I have been way too Keith Richards as of late

Hello LV RX-8 owners. I'm the new guy, just joined today after Chun spotted me the day after I got my 8 a few weeks back. I look forward to getting the most out of my first rotary. So far, I'm loving it, MPG be damned! If you see a white '07 with very loud music coming out of it (mainly in the SE part of town), say hi.

Our group is diversified with the only rule for membership is owning a rotary vehicle (hell even wanting a rotary is good enough). So while this forum is primarily 8s we belong to a bigger group of all rotary owners (and wannabes).

Hi frn1969, you should enjoy your 8. While it is not super fast it is a fun car and corners like a dream. When you get ready to "mod" it feel free to ask questions.

If your willing to do the work yourself, my garage is open a couple of Saturdays a month and we can show you how.

Armin, Nancy said that we could work on Saturday so if you get this post, I'll see ya Saturday. Maybe we can finish my bumper.

Hey Phil, do you weld (or have a welder) at the garage? I really want to weld my clutch pedal before I break it (and dont feel like dropping the $ on the bracket, lol)

Thanks, Phil.
Is it safe to assume the basic 3 to start with are CAI, headers and performance exhaust? I did all three to my '93 Miata and it made a noticeable difference.

From what I have read getting a cai on this car is pretty much all cosmetic. If you like the look of it go for it but its not going to make much if any difference. Could just get a k&n drop in filter or whatever aftermarket type you find and do pretty well.

Dont know much about headers, I do know a midpipe is a pretty good mod if your ok with changing back to your cat come smog time.

I have a prewelded one on the shelf.....if yours is not broken yet I'll even trade you for it.....If it's broken then we'll have to talk.

FNR1969, a cold air intake done properly will gain you a few horses........headers in the early mod system will not help but if you do other things it will be a must.......exhaust is some thing we would have to talk about, if you do it right then you can count on extra HP but just *****-nilly bolt on does nothing but change the sound....

Little Phil: Nancy said I could have peeps over on Saturday so I will be in the garage working. Any one is welcome to come by if you don't know where I live PM me for directions.

Armin: Saturday is OK for working on my bumper.

I hope every one is having a grest Thankgiving.

Mine isn't broken yet, Phil. It gives me just a little "click" every now and then. Still feels pretty solid. I just want to be proactive with this car, instead of reactive (like all my other cars). Id actually love to just shoot the **** for a bit as well, I have some pretty good ideas, and would like to run some by you. I'm off ALL next week and a half. :D

Well come over and change the pedal. Like I said if yours is not broken then no problem. I try and keep a "repaired" one on the shelf for all the locals. I'll take yours to work and have it welded for the next guy/gal. I work every day from 3am until 6pm so during the week is not a good time for me. I'll PM you my address. We will be in the garage on Saturday from 10am until 2pm. Your welcome to come by.

Got all the grills cut for the bumper now I need to take them to the powder coater. Going to mount the new bumper next weekend and take it to be painted. I am hoping to have it completly done in the next two weeks.

The garage will be open on Saturday December 4th from 10am until 2pm. Let me know if your coming.
