It was listed on the dealer tag as a mazda speed body kit, I inquired about it and was told it is/was a mazda speed kit that has since been changed. I would not know what else to call it. The only thing that I know it lacks are the front mudders. I have seen several 04 that were manufactured in 03 with the same kit and using the same name. If you know any different, let me know.

I have no real problem with any day - I thought that Saturday was bad for you? I was not trying to push it but if we can get a few people together then any day is good for me. I thought you had Sunday off? I would think that most members would have visitors in town this weekend.
I'll look in on the forum and see if there is a group forming.
Hay wrxto8rx, did you contact your bud?? I hate being pushy but time is getting close.

vallery of fire is nice. the road leading to it is very fun to drive, and the drive back to the white hills area is very fun also. was just up there for a friends wedding. there is an entry fee of a couple bucks. a saturday would probably be best for me for that drive.
I sent him an email. I will try and give him a call tomorrow before I head to mt charleston

wrxtorx8 about your weight question. i think its about 20lbs lighter than the stock exhaust.i know that with the new exhaust i lost about 16 lbs from the stock exhaust. which is an improvement but not by much. and with the minor power increase. i think that there is definitely a power increase, especially in first gear...it seems to get up to 40 much faster. but nothing as noticeable as lets say...NOS or a turbo. for the money, im fully confident that it was worth the cash. I think you should look into buying these if u plan to mod.

unfortunately modding my rx8 is not an opton. I am limited to the scca stock class rules. plus I have my fiances wrx for that.
with no muffler, ssr race wheels, and just under 1/4 tank my car weighed in at 2816lbs. I have the stock exhaust(which I know is heavy for sure) on now but I am thinking about putting just the open pipe on for the drive tomorrow. figure might as well have it in full competition trim for the pics.
