remember, if you have any guys interested in indoor staging, let me know and I think we can still fit a few more inside the Hall.
they don't have to be super show worthy as long as they're clean looking RX's, we won't be too picky.

Rotary Evolution
i need to look at an 8 in person to get an idea for a coil relocation kit(none scheduled to come in at the moment).
i got tired of seeing the same issues causing so many starting issues due to their location on the massive oven where they reside throughout this forum.
i only found a reference to pettit making a kit but it's not listed on their website, not sure why this isn't a common modification for a largely known issue. coils only lasting 30k miles before tiring out is unreasonable.
and if anyone has a spare dead coil pack(s) that i can borrow to get the adapter sorted out, i'm sure i can work out a discount once i get something fabricated.

Rotary Evolution
I have an access port plus the software. If you want to poke around the maps to get familiar I am cool with that. Would just want to be sure you have a solid foundation with everything before you make any adjustments. Not doubting your ability, just looking to be safest with the new engine.
the main thing i have to understand the difference in is how the wideband target AFRs affect the mapping. would be my guess that there is still a relatively accurate base map until in closed loop where the upstream O2 sensor then has a target AFR range for various RPM points. timing should be hardcoded(meaning they have a set base table like fuelling maps), will have to look into if the knock sensor is utilized for actual timing retardation. all this fancy stuff to aid with might spoil me... anything even a spot out of place on the turbo 7's nets a dead 7.
i'm old school and haven't messed with these self tuning PCM's yet.. might be too easy or might not be as easy as i think!

I have spare stock coil packs in my garage. You are welcome to have one for anything you need. I have loaned, given away and traded about 10 sets to various locals to keep them running.
I currently use the BHR coil system and after SS14 will stop by to show the set up to you. Keep in mind that my coils have been moved due to the SC.
If you desire, when I come by, you can also check out the Cobb. If I remember I will bring what software I have along.

i have a set of 4 that worked perfectly off my car. i went ahead and replaced my whole ign system since i have 57k miles now.
what kind of discount were we looking at?
im free this coming wed and thurs.
Karack, I have an upgraded ignition system in my trunk that i need to install, depending on how much poking around we do in the bay, maybe i'll just throw that on after and you can use my coils after that. (or you get grab ekliptiks, either way)
