Well, coming from SD, I don't know if I will have time to get a shop before they close. Unless someone wants to put it on for me, haha.

alright ... i'll get my car washed sometime between here and then and roll down there for a while... i say we cruise over to malibu and take topanga canyon up and do a few runs down to the beach and back while we're out there though ... we hit up mulholland, yorba buena, and stunt road the other night... it was lotsa fun, and would be even more fun with a group

i was thinking of doing the stunt/schueren/piuma/cold/mulholland loop or a latigo or yerba buena/decker hill climb.

we'd be about 30 miles from that area at most... once you get to mulholland you can pick and choose how many runs down to the ocean or back up the mountain you wanna do ...

eh more like 35/40 if your going to yerba buena but if you do the roads off of south mulholland near topanga like stunt, piuma and old topanga are like 25 tops from the LAX area, i think its a moot point because rodger already said there will be no more runs or driving at the LAX meets.

well, i'm new to this ... but if a few of us wanna go out there and drive, i don't think rodger will really mind, eh? ... moreover... i plan on going and if anyone wants to follow, the fast line starts behind my buddy in the subaru because he always drives, and i'll be popping my canyon cherry, so the slow lane can start behind (or maybe in front of) me.....

Yea, it comes down to whatever the group wants to do after in n' out. We tried doing a cruise once and didn't go that great. However, if enough people want to go for a drive afterwards, then that's not a problem.

When I said there won't be any more runs that was in context to the arguement at the time. Meaning I don't want anyone driving at or near their limits at these meets.

We usally meet at 9 and hang out til 10 then drive to in n' out which is across the street. After that we can do whatever. It's about a 20 minute drive to the nearest canyons, so keep that in mind.

not a good idea when its already pitch black at night, its better to be familiar with a route before you drive it at night, i need to switch bulbs on my FD because the car isnt driveable with the bulbs in now, a flash light will outpower my standard beams. if you are going for your first or first few times you should go behind a moderately paced person and not infront of your RS buddy who probably goes pretty fast(in addition you use the person in front of you for cues on corners and stuff) and you definately dont want to follow how your buddy drives because RWD drives completely different than AWD and they will be accelerating out of turns a lot sooner than you will for example in you in your RR car.

I find it much easier to do at night because there is no traffic, making it safer.
