I wouldn't think it would matter much. The bolts are torqued to 70lbs, each wheel has about 750lbs of force on it when lowered. I would think that the car would sit the same way reguardless of when the bolts were thightened.

gravity might be on your side if you do it while it's on the ground. It shouldn't make all that much difference but who knows... worth a shot maybe?

Danny has bigger rims than I do, that would have an effect on the wheel gap. After doing some searching, it seems that two fingers is about right for the S-techs. I need someone with stock springs and rims to measure from the bottom of the fender to the ground.
