My rear right turn signal burned out.... oh well, time to make it led!
It's kind of funny because the turn signals and reverse lights are the only things that I haven't converted to led yet.

My project for today is making my own digital flasher. Load resistors are stupid, they burned the power the LEDs save and trick the car into thinking you're using normal bulbs. Yea, it's kinda counter productive since LEDs are for saving power.

So it turns out that our car doesn't use a normal flasher. It has a digital flasher module that controls the blinkers, it's located under the dash next to the OBD II port. I was able to take it apart and reprogram it so that the bulb out function doesn't work anymore.
It still flashes a little faster than before. This isn't because of the leds though, putting the stock bulbs back in makes it flash at the same speed. Just a little side effect of the hack I guess.

FYI: I'm working on setting up a Vegas meet for those interested.
I can't go in July, my schedule is pretty booked. (stupid work!)![Wink](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
August 8th - 10th.
Details (seperate thread) should be posted soon.
