I can't find the tsb on the bimmer forums but it looks like people have already got the new firmware and it does fix the lag problem.

Kinda like the 8...it lacks power...which is easily fixed...
Uhh...perhaps you should post that useful information on the OTHER forum...you know...where its relevant...and could be useful...

A friend of mine is the tech at Sterling BMW. He's going to notify me as soon as the new reflash is available. Most of our tunes fix lag already however.

Heh, dude if you buy any car you should drive it first...and LIKE it...the little issues like throttle response can easily be addressed later...

I don't think so. I think the biggest part of being an enthusiast is respect for other cars. Naturally we're all a little biased about what we actually drive, but there is plenty of room to appreciate other cars.
On e90post.com other people post pictures of other cars all the time. We even got a thread 3 pages long about a 2003 Mustang!

Sorry guys I simply have too many pictures of RX-8s taken over the past several years to desire taking any more. Blue spots occur when people move around in the picture too much...
