nah, I would like to hear their explanation as to how grounding wires could cause a motor mount to go bad. But I dunno, the service writer said that my "modifications" would void my warranty and I asked to speak with the service manager, he came in and asked what the problem was. I told him what the writer had told me and he chewed his *** out for even saying such a thing and he just took care of it for me, I'll be picking it up this morning.

So what's the story with the next meet? Last I heard was: delayed a week? Good to start early with letting people know on other forums and such...

rodger, random question: can you check water temp on your canscan. I'm curious to see what that's going to start looking like in the next month or two.

Wink New Mods

Hey, Sorry I have been MIA the last meet. However, my girl showed up to represent me. New mods going this Friday.

1. Mazdaspeed nose
2. Racing Beat Ram Air

There are three white ones here in Long Beach and one on this forum that looks almost exactly like mine. Well, I have to be different (hold your comments)! I take pictures!

I'll be able to attend but whether or not I bring my 8 all depends on how quick I can get my bodykit on and how fast it gets out of paint.

Reinstalled my SS last night. ooooohhhh, how I missed that thing.

It's really weird though because I was already starting to once agian like the stock shifter. As soon as I put the SS in, I asked myself, "WTF was I thinking? Liking the OEM shifter???"

I don't think your problem is related to the SS. Or do you just want the $$?

Negative ghost rider. I don't use diff oil in my 8.
I was using Royal Purple Max Gear 75-90:

Max Gear is formulated to improve the efficiency of rear end assemblies and manual transmissions. Virtually eliminates both gear and bearing wear. API GL-4 / GL-5 Certified.

Danger Will Robinson, Danger!!

Synchromesh???
Synchromax is recommended for manual transmissions that specify an automatic transmission fluid or motor oil.

Section 10-6 of the Owner's Manual:

Manual Transmission Fluid: API Service GL-4 or GL-5 (SAE 75W-90)

Rear differential oil:
- API Service GL-5 (SAE 90)
- API Service GL-5 (SAE 80W-90)
- API Service GL-5 (SAE 75W-90)
