OLDER INFO:
Hey guys so I found some pretty cool industrial type buildings around Yorba Linda and thought it would be a sweet place to get some of us together and do a photo shoot. Mikepistoneater, Roger and I did a small shoot today with just a point and click camera. Here are some samples of a few of the shots we can get:
Need someone brave to climb up the roof (like me )
Big slanted loading dock area
Can fit 5+ cars here (pretty planters :D)
These were all taken with a point and click Canon and I am no photo composition meistro so it would be awesome to get some guys with a legit camera out! I was thinking sometime in August on a Sunday, because all of these places are closed and no one comes to work on Sunday. We also showed up around 5PM so the shadows were already starting to ruin the shots. I think around 11-12 though there are no nasty shadows. All of these locations are on a single stretch of road, less than a minute from eachother.
Feedback guys!!!

Looks good to me
Though that third shot is driving me nuts, I want to photoshop the other buildings' logos out of the glass (reflection)
I'm sure you know this already, but the lei hanging from your rear view is a HUGE distraction to the sleek cool color scheme the cars create....just putting that out there too.
I agree, 11:00 - 12:00 would be better since the sun will be at it's highest and the shadows will be minimal.
Also! remember the 2/3 rule. FILL THE FRAME!! the first shot is nice, but there's a little too much pavement and not enough focus on the cars. Cropping makes things more interesting as the mind wants to try and complete the image mentally. Just putting those tips out there for ya!
