Hey guys, I'm looking at a few different cars to buy and I'm really interested in an RX8. Anyone know how reliable they are to a very spirited daily driver, and how do they feel around a corner? if taking a corner with just the cars momentum alone will it give you warning before it gets loose and does it understeer or oversteer first. Thanks for your help guys.

One of the best handling cars out there.
Take one for a spin and you will know this is the car.
Its not fast in a straight line. Need FI or the Access Port plus weight reduction.

Not creeper-status. lol
lol. No I'm definitely not creeper status. lol. I'm located in Orange County. I'm just trying to get a really good idea before I'm going to put down the cash and I'd really like to know what this car is really capable of in the hands of someone that has had one for a while. If I do get an RX, it's going to get pushed to the absolute limit. I just want to make sure that I'm getting the right car for me, and going to the dealership and taking a test drive just doesn't replace someone with extended experience and knows the unique personality and limitations of the car in question. That's all. lol. I've gotten my decision down to pretty much an RX8 or a WRX, but at this point I'm very bias towards the RX, and have heard great things about the platform and powertrain in combination, so any information you guys can throw my way would be greatly appresiated. The only reliablity issue I have heard is about the engine seals and that they might have to be changed after 50xxx miles? Anyone had this issue, and if so how hard are they to change? I'm pretty capable of doing engine work myself and since this particular engine type has very few moving parts compared to piston type engines, I figured that it wouldn't be too much of a worry overall.
Oh, and BTW, if anyone out there is looking to pick up a huge turbocharger let me know. I've got a never used GT45 Turbocharger with balenced turbines. Let me know.

Beat the **** out of the car, they like it. Baby them and they go to poo.
Reliability, take care of the engine and maintain it, there are plenty of members over the 100k marker on stock everything.
