No problem. Happy to let everybody get a test drive. My car is over at SP Engineering right now getting some enhancements put in. I'll shoot you guys a PM when I get the car back & we can set something up.

Sure. Well the car does fit 4 people so I guess we are all good. I'll let you guys know when I get my car back. It has the turbo, hi flow cat, cat back exhaust & lightened flywheel (go fast parts) so it might be a little different experience from just a turboed car (FYI).

Fanman came out to one of the Malibu meets I was at. I recalled the turbo smoked a bit when we made those rest/photo stops. Fanman, do you recall that? Was that normal, or were there things that needed to be fixed with your setup at that time? This was a while back though..

I was considering (if I turbo the 8) the SFR turbo kit or the Greddy but I like this though

Yeah, we found out it was it was a leaking oil line. The Greddy lines are different sized from the stock car lines, so it caused a fitment issue. It was squirting oil out of the bottom onto some hot parts, causing the heat issue.
I think what you are looking at will look something like this :
1. Greddy Turbo Kit = $3000 = 250 whp
2. Upgraded Greddy Kit (with upgraded EMS unit) = $4500 = 300 whp (less on Cali. gas)
3. Mazsport Kit = $5000 to $6500 = 320 (in Cali. with lesser gas) to 350 whp
4. PTP Turbo Kit = $7500 = 350+ whp
Pay to play. Have to determine your own pocketbook size.
