posted my pics up in the mulitmedia section so that more would get to enjoy them....and to hopefully drum up more interest in our meet..

https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8-multimedia-photo-gallery-6/malibu-california-6-20-05-cruise-pics-64485/

Xped...maybe you could link the video on that thread...or maybe start another thread with the same title as mine but indicate Video (to distinguish it from my "pics" thread)...

I got this idea from Trigger. I finally realized that my pics get lost in huge threads and the only one's who enjoy them are those that attended. I noticed that many people were asking Trigger to post more pics, amny of which I posted a couple days prior, but no one knew to look through the OC club meet site in the West Region...anyways, enough from me...hope you like the pics

on another note..what happened Micahel, thought you were coming out?

Xped, just tried your link but it gave me an error indicator. I'll try it later and see if it was just bad timing on my part.

Addictive, any idea on your part of the video...or does Xped have both memory cards? Xped, you have both memory cards? Were you able to edit both together, or did you just edit parts of yours? (I'm referring to your post about the video being 11 minutes in length)...

The video link doesn't work right now cause the host im using is upgrading his server, it should be back up tonight around 9.

As far as the malibu cruz video, I only edited my tape. I'm meeting up dan hopfully soon to get his tape, he wanted to see the video... Once I get it ill edit it together. I'm still trying to upload the video of the cruz but it always fails cause its too big. Ill figure something out...

http://www.cesaralaniz.com/RX8/index.htm

The first file is probably the best, but they all are fun to watch...

Xped....unbelievable job on the video. My heart was pumping in my chest during the portion that slowed with the music...unbelievable. Hey, would it be ok to put that link on the pic thread that I started...I can just imagine the number of views that will get there though. Don't know if that is an issue for your sight. I would love to revise the title of my thread to "now includes 7 minute video".....if so, let me know.

xped...watched the video six times now Like it better every time. Any news on the longer version, or Addictive's footage?

Third Saturday of July would be the 16th? This the next meet? The first Saturday of the month is SoCal RX meets, and the second Saturday is my San Bernardino meet....so I wouldn't be able to make a meeting on the 9th...but then again, I won't be able to make a meet on the 16th...so please (I'm being serious)...don't schedule this on my schedule...I'll definately catch up with you guys in August.

Installed yourself? Wow, that is impressive. And I thought installed the MS kit myself was impressive. So, were you able to find a spring compressor, or did you rent one? Any other changes along with the springs...did you change out shocks (or do we have struts)?

I talked to others that have done it and they have said that the rears are the most difficult because the rear doesn't drop far enough to be an easy swap. Did you experience the same thing with your install..Fronts easy, rears more difficult?

I have seen the RB spring drop in person, but Razz1 has 18's with stock tires. I'm interested to see how it looks on your staggered 19's. Any issue with the rear fender...any rubbing yet...you gonna need to roll the fenders?

Razz1 also has the RB sway bars and highly recommends them as well. He does a lot of track and autocross type stuff with his car and really likes the way the car handles with those additions...maybe something to consider for your next mod. Take full advantage of the performance side of our curve huggin 8's.

I have the RB springs with 19" too. the back is just about perfect. The front is still high. I really like the RB Sways, they really helped my transitions in hard cornering. About the only thing left to do is install the rear MS strut/shock bar, and I'm deciding if I should do the Koni's, but it might be a bit extreme for me. I would rather have an everyday driver, then a fire breathing track car that drives too stiff for the LA freeways.
