Sounds like you might want to bring one. I'll bring the cash.
If I like it, I buy on the spot.

Razz, you'll have to let me know what you think of the shifter. Given that you daily drive, as well as track your car, I am interested in what you think.
I'm surprised that Racing Beat doesn't have a short shifter....and that you don't already have one.
Still enjoying your intake?

I had a great time, nice to meet all of you guys. I bugged out a little early to stop at a freinds ranch on Kanan to watch the NASCAR race. Found out alot about my cars handling and what I want to do about it. :D
The rear end needs some work. I'm not up for the HD springs but better shocks with adjustment would be nice. Plus an adjustable front bar. Then tires.
That should keep the ride nice and give some more control over the rear end.
Plus adjustment for understeer and oversteer.
I'll let you know when I find the right parts.

Glad your ok. We were worried about yout you when you didn't show up at the next stop.
I was hoping you'd make it to lunch. i wanted to buy your shifter.
After experiencing those long throws again around the corners, I've decided I can tolerate a little notchy bolt action shifter. After all I realized it's still there with the stock shifter. It's more noticeable with yours as the throws are closer.

Man, that was some of the best fun I've had in a long time.
Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right.
And more.
One of the fun parts was keeping the RPM's high.
Another part was seeing other RX8's.
Once again, Thanks for looking ahead and being safe.
