We should do it again very soon. Hopefully we will continue with our "california Winter"
Someone should post a link to the mulmedia forum so everyone can see how much fun we had and be very very jelous!

Thanks guys, it was sure a fun day especially after I got in the groove of things. Pictures look great everyone. I am in the process of sorting mine and resizing them, and then I have to post over Dial-up so it may take a while. My neighbor moved out so I have no high speed conection right now.
P.S. The few of us that went straight through Dear Creek, wasnt that pretty crazy, especially the down hill part. It was basically a one lane and then a tight two lane road with many blinds corners. What if someone was coming up similar to us, or maybe I am missing something? @*%# it was fun though, everything in the back of my trunk was like a tossed salad after today. Didnt really notice it until I was on my feet in home town but I was pretty happy to make back alive. Not to scare new guys for next time, I had a blast but it is some serious driving. Glad everyone was safe.

Yeah, turned out to be a pretty long day but it was totally worth it.
Total milage for me: 228 miles
Filled up @ Shell for $2.66
OH, and I even averaged 17.6 mpg on today's trip!!

Hey Everyone,
Thanks for showing up, sharing the day, and for posting the pictures so fast! I had a blast, and enjoyed meeting you all. I'm still a newbie, so this is probably the hardest I've driven my 8 thus far- but well worth it. (Finally rolled over from 925 miles to 1025 today too... Woooot!) Wanted to post the picts I took right away too- but, couldn't find my darn usb cable. (Prolly left it at the office.) So, I'll post them tomorrow night for sure.
Hope to see everyone again at the next cruise!

This happened two more times, but I was driving very slow at this point...not wanting a repeat of the first scare. I would definately say that this road leads to a couple of excellent drives, but is definately A SLOW CRUISE MUST next time. (I know, I know, Dan you told me....now I'll listen ).

I want to say that I was really impressed with your driving...you stayed with me the entire time. Made it a lot easier on me knowing that you were right behind me each time I looked.

I was also wondering if great handleing cars like the 8 and the Elise go up i teh hills why didn't we see and Evo's or STI's not to mention the other model Elises?

Lesper, just for you man...
I wasn't able to grab my camera fast enough to get any pictures of the Lambo though.
I'm really really hoping that X-ped had the camera going and might have gotten the thing on film...

Hey guys, what a great turn out yesterday. Hope to do it very soon, say end of november or early december before I leave for Japan. I didn't have the video cam in hand when the F40 passed which sucks but oh well. I prob won't get done with the compilation video till end of november, but if I have time I'll make a quick video of this meet. I'm just so busy with school work plus I have to make a video for school project and my friends sponsorship for freestyle motocross. Anyways hope the next meet will bring as many people.

is it me, or does that second pic of the Ferrari look like a fricken Barbie car. It looks like a toy. Maybe it is the coloring on the red, or maybe it is just that rediculous wing. Anyways....it was a cool car, and did I say, loud.
