Gerry,
When I get home tonight, I'll try and figure out how that bracket used to be attached.
I'll post pics if I can.
On a side note: FINALLY got my plates in from the DMV. No more "Jedi" on the back of my car...
Hmm, might have to look into customm plates...

Funny thing you bring this up. When I was at the meet a few months ago I looked and found only one other car besides mine that had a front plate. I hate them and have gone without on all my nice cars for years. However Beverly hills now will stop you before you get one block into their city. Seems they like the money they get from the red light cameras that take your picture from the front.
So if you go there best have your plate on.

Though, I am still very inclined to NOT install the ugly thing. This bites. If you have pictures or figured out a way Jorge, please let me know.
I have personalized plates, but still, my front plate sits in the trunk right next to the spare tire.

I just look at mine. I know mine has the mounting points behind it but no holes in the front. If you look closely you can see where they are marked to make the holes. I don't think it will be visible. Be careful because I think it has the marks for european plates also.

Being an avid Mac user, the only customization I've done on my 8 so far is putting two Apple Computer logo stickers on the pop out side windows... I haven't seen any solid white ones that use static electricity. So, these will have to do in the meantime I guess..

I agree with Adictive, this place has gone pretty quiet !
I think everyone is on strike until X-ped posts the new video.
Might be time to start getting a roster for the next meet though...
I'm still trying to see if I can make it on the 11th. I'm supposed to go paintballing that day and I'm supposed to be at a X-mas party!

STi, Sti, Sti, Sti,....and then, what's up with the '72 wagon, that should be pretty interesting. Hope you have fun man. We got chumped on the Dec 10 autocross. All the slots were taken even before it went public. We do have the insdei scoop on the January event and we already have five spots reserved for us San Bernardino folk.
Do you still have access to Axis wheels? Wondering if a set of Axis Hiros in Bronze are available in 19 inch sizing, staggered. Let me know when you have a chance.

I really wanted to make that track event, especially since it's only like 10 minutes from my house, but I couldn't take that Friday off work. It sucks, but that's life...
