as soon as you get off the 101, you will see the gas station right in front of you a liitle bit to the right, you can't miss it.

me i'm the manager of a paint store. that is short on help, and right now in a slow process of closing. the lease went way too high. ah but fear not i still have my job and title, i'll just be filling in at other stores for awhile. it's what we call a roving manager. but it's more like a high paid clerk position, so it's cool for now..

X-ped: Dan moved down to my neck of thw woods.

I need to call him this week to take him out for drinks or something (to celebrate his new apartment) and I'll see if he wants to go to Malibu.

fc? i am guessing are 1st or 2nd gens right? you may have a hard time keeing up, i noticed in a San Bernardino meet they were all over the place and the traction was not that great, but then again if yours is in good condition i could be wrong, you are still welcome to come...I may be totally worng.

thats the second gen rx7, and you'd be suprised, a FC can whoop the **** out of an RX8 in canyon driving the first gen is no slouch either its the lightest of all of the RX's (i know and will state authoritavely b/c at one point i owned an FC and an rx8 at the same time haha) my FC is gone now in favor of a different rx7.

Loren, this FC would be similar to "drift" that comes to the San Bernardino meets...he ahs that stock blue one that he gutted the interior out of. His is also very loud.

The only thing I can say, is I don't want an FC infront of me, the lask of emission controls make me light headed and will give me headaches if I have to smell your exhaust the whole way. But yes, come on out. Looks like we will have a lively bunch this time. Just add your name to the list and get someone's cell number in case you get lost or are running late to the meet location.

i wish my friends could come out w/ their FD's too... but, 50k+ and an entire garage full of parts, turbos, intakes, hoses, belts, rivets, gadgets & every tool u could possibly imagine later, their cars are still completely undriveable- 3+ years and counting...

is what happens when going overboard w/ the engine mods i guess. <shrugs> ironically, it was watching them work on their cars every week that got the rotary bug into me in the first place. go figure...

P.S.

Q: How do u fit a turbo the size of an 80lb watermelon in the engine compartment of and FD?
A: Take apart the entire engine, re-do all the wiring & everything, spend gobs & gobs of money, and then watch your car rot in the garage...

I have a few suspention mods,. and about every NA bolt on worth a crap. I dont mind taking up the rear, yes it will make your eyes water. I Dont plan on hauling major ***,but I dont think keeping up will be a huge issue, but getting left behind is always posible, no LSD rear diff keeps me in check.

June, if you still have access to those full version/resolution pics, I would love to see them...email them to me at givetokeith@yahoo.com

any news on your computer, given the problems you had in posting the movie from the last cruise...wow, that was like 3 months ago now wasn't it....still would love to see your editting job though.

You talked about downloading the full versions, in full resolution to DVD. I'm still interested if you have time to do that.
I know I have one of the pictures which I can email you if you want. The Hi-Res pic I'll have to see if my friend still has the cd which I saved it on since he made the poster for me. As far as the video, Ill try and upload it after the meet.

Looks like this saturday will be a good turn out...

Usually what we do, is line up in order of "adrenaline"....those who want to go faster go more towards the front. If you find yourself driving beyond you ability, all we ask is that you allow the person behind you to pass, but by the time you get to the rear, it is a pretty slow cruise. We'll figure out all the particulars in the morning. We go on a quick warm up run, and then re-order from there. This seems to work the best for everyone. I have been to only one Malibu cruise where we got separated...it usually doesn't happen because we try to keep each other in our mirrors.

We will need to designate what to do in these event that we get separated, because as we found out that day, cell service doesn't work in the canyons. So, we'll probably pick meet locations if we get separated.

That and putting about $16k into mods and maintenance in one year was the reason I got rid of my FD thant's not including the 20B I HAD.

where did you get your 20b and how much did you sell it for ;D

i assume you were running single if you put 16k into it...ive put about 400 dollars so far in reliabilty mods and maintain my car and it runs like a champ.

I sold it to a guy that Autotech Motorsport is doing a 20b in a FC vert. I was planning in dropping it on the 8 but it is also my family car and at the time and I needed the money. The motor was street ported 850cc pri and 1600cc sec., LTX-12 ecu, complete rebuild. Sold it for $4k.

Nope $16k was before I was planning on going single. And the car was imaculate when I got it too. No motor replacement either. good portion of that went to handling deparment. Here are a few pics, just scroll down to my name http://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=430558&page=4 the only thing that you don't see in the pics are the JDM Recaros. Under the hood 850cc all around, non-seq, pretty much every mod you could bolt on with out touching the turbos. I was making 347whp.
This is what she looked like when I got her a year before I sold her.
