Pepperdine is an awesome school! You should find a way to come out here to "tour the campus" one day that just so happens to be the same day as a Malibu Cruise!

Correction: You could launch TWO torpedos from that thing.

dang is that a US or Japanese made exhaust? never heard of the company, but they look simular to the Apex n1 dual setup.

Its a Japanese made exhaust, they went out a buisness shortly after the FD came out so they made only a hand full of exhaust for the FD. As far as I know only 1 other fourm member of RX7club has a st.may exhaust, only difference is his is a single tip. The quality is top notch way better than racing beat and it sounds amazing. We've gone through racing beat, apex n1 dual and hks titanium and it doesn't compare. It surprizingly quiet, only a tad bit louder than the racing beat dual but its alot deeper and has distinct tone reminds me of a supra. Are you in the market for a new exhaust?

Yeah, were just doing some light mods. A stock FD is beautiful but with some slight mods it looks so exotic. As of now we have Buddyclub coilovers, St.May Exhaust, Tripoint Engineering Hi-Flow Cat, SSR GT3 Wheels and Feed Sideskirts in the garage. I think thats all were going to do.

Feed side skirts make the car look so much better. I had them in my FD to match my 99 spec lip.

Hey stealth, if you bring the FD my wife will kill you. I just finally picked my next project car and is not a FD. I want to get me a 1970-72 240Z and put a RB in it but if I see a FD I might have to change my mind again.

i think if i were to do a "project car," even tho i would never do one due to the expense & sheer laziness, it would be something like a classic ford roadster or something. and, never any japanese car. just my opinion, but, in general, japanese cars don't age very gracefully. as they get old, they start metamorphasizing into vehicles out of a cheesy 70's robotic cartoon or something. <lol> but, if u look at some european cars- like a mercedes or bmw from the 60's or 70's, they still look nice 30 years later. my aunt still drives her 1978 bmw 5-series and it still looks nice. hate to say it, but i bet in 2020 our 8's will look pretty cheesy too. hahahaha

one of th most valuable classic cars out there is a Toyota 2000GT.

I think Convertible are more valuable also.

But I'm not looking for the Z because is a "classic". It just I want something to restore and it was build before 1973 (emision, what's that?) and parts are easy and cheap to come by. I get the side benefit of a RB26DETT will pretty much bolt right in. If I wanted to I could even make it AWD. But I don't need to go that far I just want some thing to look along the lines of this just with a RB26 instead.

lol funny i think the EXACT opposite, european cars tend to look dated quicker than japanese cars. for example even 90's benzes and bimmers look like dinosaurs when you look at the supra or an FD most people never guess that they are more than a few years old. to me the japanese sports cars of the 60's and 70s have irreplacable classic looks. nothing against european cars, im into them and my dad is into eurotuning and has modified euros but i think japanese sports cars have more charachter.

Actually that was the first car I bought myself when I was in high school. I sold it to my uncle whne I enlisted in the Navy 10 years ago and he still has it.
