Yes, I got the REV8...but I wouldn't recommend buying it directly from Racing Beat, as they do not offer any incentives for you to buy it through them. I bought mine through RX8garage.net and saved a couple bucks, even with the shipping costs.

I also purchased the Racing Beat intake and cold air tube. I know Jedi did the same as well....trying to be my twin

I have the Racing Beat exhaust as well and love it. perfect smooth sound (no damn 2 stroke ricer sound) however when you step on it, it adds an aggresive note. I think you will be pleased with the RB.

Ohh and Jedi, summer sounds good. I would like to sweep the street (sarcasm) prior to our cruise because last time I got a paint chip from some damn rock.

lol you cant expect to keep your car 100% showroom condition if you want to drive it, if you want to drive your car just deal with repainting your bumper every 2-3 years or get a clearbra if it bothers you.

Michael,

Get it from Jason over at the RX8 Store. Good price & you won't have to pay sales tax. Unless you are physically going to go over to RB & pick it up yourself (save on shipping, but then you have to pay tax & time, & gas rather then have it go to your door).

http://www.rx7store.net/category_s/122.htm

I loved my RB exhaust. Thought it was the perfect sound for my car.

If your interested in the spare, I have two that I'm not using...and, even better, I'm right on your way to Vegas. Just pull off the 15 at Baseline and we can arrange a transfer

yeah...shamefully. Myspace doesn't host any images or videos so you're on your own in terms of hosting, once its up just html the URL location of the video and you should be good.

June,
I assume you got the info from Kat....I sent her info on a place in Long Beach. They do an awsome job, and can do what you ask, but it will be more expensive than the quote Kat got. I think she said 90 bucks per wheel. I would anticipate it to be more like 120 per wheel to do the polished lip...since they will have to do the wheels by hand.

Personally though, I think you have a nice look without blacking them out...IMO.-Keith

Thanks keith, i'm contemplating on either getting my wheel painted or aem intake. Hmm maybe I might go with the intake for now and save some money.

if you're looking for ways to spend money....might I suggest the AEM intake and the Agency Power underdrive pulleys. There's a set right now on Ebay. Your car would sound mean coming and going, and have some power the most of us wont have....much better than changing your rims to a different color. There was a reason for your rim choice...don't fall into the trap that many have fallen into with the current trend (I know I'm included in this....but who cares, I like my GT-7's)

Hey guys,

We should all go to this: (since our cruise is on-hold for now) So-Cal RX 2006 Annual Multi-County Road Tour - 4

Here's the thread

Looks like they had 30-40 cars at the last run...I bet if all the SoCal people from this forum show up, we can get closer to 50-60 Rotaries out there!
I'm definitely up for something like this....should be tons of fun!
