So, what's next? If you like the sound of the exhaust, may I suggest the RB intake with ram air duct.
haha he's feeling it, we should start tossing out ideas for an intake now haha. ive managed to do pretty much nothing to the 8, saving money to put together that boost :D and waiting for more interceptor X reviews of course

When I first installed my RB exhaust, I was LOVING it!

3 days later I installed my RB intake and Ram Air Duct....WOW!!

What I love about it is how quiet it can be at idle and easy driving, but just like the exhaust, when you go WOT you REALLY hear it! (just ask Xrider01 about heraing mine on the freeway during some 'spirited' driving we did)

Micahel,

I ordered it from mazdaparts.com and they gave me a GREAT deal. I told him I was a member of this site and he waived the shipping on it.

I ordered mine online through Mazdaparts as well. Racing Beat doesn't give you any incentives or discounts to order directly from them. The only advantage you may get, is quicker shipping. My intake had to come from a wharehouse in Mississippi, and then it was lost by FEdex....long story, but yes, order it online.

I did the install by myself. I installed the intake and ram air duct on the same afternoon. I don't recall what it took me, but I recall it being about the time indicated in the RB installation booklet. Not many tools are needed. Screwdriver, sockets, wrench...not much more.

I think Jedi had a friend's help.

Definately not something to have a shop do....definately no need. Its as easy as building Legos from those little pictures they give you in the box. Easy.

I did this at home with the help of a friend. (even though it can easily be done by yourself)

Very few tools needed like Keith said...just a few hours of work and you're set!

I saw an increase in MPG, but then gas quality really changed and it has dropped lower than what I was getting prior to the intake installation.

Winter formula usually does that to your mpg.

Don't worry, it'll get better after memorial day.

Jabberwock is GIVING away two MS bumpers for the trade of one OEM titanium Grey bumper. A thread is up in the FS section, as well as the western region. This is an awsome offer for those with Titanium.

You'll have to beat the San Bernardino thread for that honor. And watch out for the LAX thread.
