they`re right where the 405 and the 710 meet...you can have your car serviced, buy and install your intake all in one shot .
very nice group of guys there.
how much are they charging you for the install? Which flywheel did you end up going with?

it is the lightest flywheel out there. I would be very interested to hear your feedback upon completing your first drive.

Still 15 bucks cheaper than buying it straight from Racing Beat...another reason (confusing but true) as to why to buy through a middle man on RB products.

I'm anxiously awaiting your feedback from the "butt" dyno and "lead" foot. How was your first drive with the flywheel. Noise? Acceleration?

Well.. the flywheel installation is done and i`m very very happy with the results. Throttle response is greatly improved, a very noticeable difference. And I`m not one easily impressed.....with my Revi intake+duct...I didnt notice anything, couldnt even really hear it. My Greedy exaust......same thing, a little noise at high rpm`s but thats gone as soon as you turn the radio on( no noticeable power gains ,not that i was expecting to). i know all these little gains added up, make a little difference but still not really impressed. But if you want a mod that you can feel right away, i would strongly suggest the racing beat flywheel. This along with the RP short shifter is nothing but pure fun. So if your itching to speed mony on your 8 , thats where i would put it. Those two things will keep you satisfied and smiling for a long time. (IMO...ofcorse). if i could aford to i`d buy everyone on this threed one..i like it that much

stock flywheel- around 18 pounds
racing beat flywheel- 12 pounds
cost for new RB flywheel- around $450 ( mine was 360)
installation-$234.00
installation time- 2-3 hours
total -$594.00.....money well spent IMO

pros:improved acceleration through the gears
cons: now all i want to do is drive everywhere and
stupid silly grin wont leave my face

thanks for the feedback. As my next auto cross mods, I was looking at flywheels and pulleys. Mahuna, have you considered adding pulleys next?

i have actually..... but i`m still on the fence about them. i`ve read threads from some people who have put them on, that that in some cases they trip the engine check light.
