that's weird that you only got one. Probably just drop shipped directly from RB

same thing happened to me. The duct came straight from Anaheim, while the intake (which got lost along the way) came from Mississippi and came about 2 weeks later.

he might as well wait since he has to remove the ft bumper to get the duct in...might as well just wait and install both while the bumper is off.....so much easier

to all the guys that buy from mazdaparts.com. just one question, did you get charged tax?? my reason for asking is, i paid no tax for my exhaust, but i did for the intake. now i did get the two from diff. vendors. were they charging tax to make up for a cheaper price, since you do not have to charge tax on internet sales. i bought a camera from ritz also no tax.it was a web based sale. could someone please explain this..

Hey Michael,

If the company you bought the product from is based in CA and they shipped it to a CA address then you'll get charged tax. (mazdaparts is a good example)
When I purchased from them, they did charge me tax but even with that added to the total they were still a better price.

Which two vendors did you use?

Congrats!

What do you think of the cool "sucking" noise it makes at the front of the car when it's just idling?
did you notice yet? Just turn it on and go put your ear near the front bumper. Pretty cool actually.

nah its good, i can handle it ;D

im not modding the 8 out haha im just gonna throw the stuff away when it gets b00000000st so i might as well put that money towards other stuff like suspension or aero parts while i wait for the warranty to expire

no point getting a 4 year warranty and turning around and expiring it a year later.

well if something goes wrong with the car. you could always put certain items back on. i'm keeping my old intake set up just incase. now that i know how everything goes should be a piece of cake. plus if theres a screw missing here or there i can always say the body shop did it when they worked on my car almost 2 yrs back...
