I was thinking the weekend AFTER the 4th of July. (hopefully it won't be as crowded by then)

That would be the second Saturday of the month...and you know where I will be.

And that Sunday is an auto cross event, and you know where I will be.

The following weekend 15th/16th, I will be in Vegas.

I really want to do another cruz but I'm booked solid. Detailing cars, going to san fransico and painting our garage I won't have time to go on a cruz. Looks like everyones busy july.

august sounds like it would be a good month for all of us except honda. whom you remember is being shipped over sea's next month even if we just met up some place it would still be cool. don't have to have a real cruz just to see a fellow rx8'er off. we could meet up someplace park or what not and just chat...

It really didn't bug me going to Iraq. I been there more times that I can count (on ships :D ) but it was just how long I was going to go there that was bugging me. The job was going to be awesome but oh well.

But yes we need to do a close out meet. Just need to set a date.

Why are you selling your fd?

Hey keith any luck selling your car? It seems like no ones in the market for used 8's as new ones are pretty cheap now. If I don't sell it by the end of october I may just keep it for another year...

oh, buying a different FD, but later down the road, its not really practical enough for me right now and gas is a little expensive, and i want to have an FD i can modify and i really am not into molesting a nice original CYM.

maybe the PTP (plus hks ecu) turbo kit? there's a thread on that here and an article in this month's car & driver. ups everything to about 375HP at a price just under 10 grand. mpg goes to **** tho- approx 13... kinda a bad trade off

Nope, didn't figure it would sell for that much, but am really not willing to take a huge hit on it. I've sold other cars of mine that have been modified and get pissed at how much I lose on the deals. I think I may end up keeping the car until I HAVE to get rid of it. I have been getting a lot of crappy emails though...telling me that my car is ugly, or that the car is not even worth half of what I'm asking....really is interesting to see how Rotary people are, when they hunt for used vehicles...they are a different bunch...to say the least.

most of them are mental. when you read some of the reply's common sense seems to take a back seat. or in most cases just thrown out completely. if they did not do it then they don't like it. thats why i won't take pic's of my car when i get it back.
