MazFest - 2005: Buttonwillow Track Time

Alright boys and girls... I'm at it again. I've joined up with a few of my Mazda friends to bring you all another ALL MAZDA TRACK Day on Saturday May 7th, at Buttonwillow Raceway. This event is going to include more though...

-Car Show
-Dyno
-Track Time
-Race Demos
-Track Rides
-etc.. etc...

Track spots are limited, so sign up ASAP... this is first come (PAY) first serve!!! Don't be left out, like at the ALL MAZDA TRACK DAY last August. You know how I do this....

Full Details here:

MAZFEST 2005

Hope to see you all there, even if you don't get in on the track time!

hey Bern where exactly is buttonwillow? Is it in So Cal? I live in the SF area and am willing to drive a few hundred miles to get there, but not 500 or more.

It's north of Bakersfield, as stated previously... I would say about a 3 hour drive (250 miles south) from the Bay area. Here's a map for you:

Not at all... think of it as a spirited drive on your favorite canyon road. If you push like REALLY hard, then you might wear your tires a bit, but for a beginner, you should be ok.

No... you should set your GROUP now. If you feel you picked the wrong group, please e-mail the REDLINE guys ASAP. The groups run in very specific #'s, so they need to be set!

If you've never done a track day, you need to be in the BEGINNER group. No shame in that! If totally necessary, they will change your group there, but you should be set before.

Cheers,

-Bern

It doesn't matter what group others are running in, please pick the group that is appropriate to your skill level.

There are ONLY 4 spots left before you get on the WAIT list, so sign up ASAP.... don't say I didn't warn you guys!

It's looking good... per this mornings list, we have 7 RX-8s signed up to run the track!! Spots are getting really low, so please sign-up asap, if you'd like to track!!

If not, please sign up for the free All Mazda Car Show, and make plans to attend!!

Also, we'll be setting up caravans soon!

There are 24 RX's total signed up for the track!! NICE!! :D

Bern,

All the links seemed to have died. I was thinking about going just to check out the cars & the dyno sessions.

NO problem to just coming out to check out the event... even if you don't do either the show or track, please feel free to come out and check out all of the days activities... there will be vendors and displays... not to mention the lunch time race and drift demos!
